News: Would You Nominate Me?
Malonza spent the evening trying to get into Junia's mind.

Malonza was a curious bee this evening and asked Junia a lot of questions that were tough for Junia to answer. After Nominations stress had died down and everyone had finished their supper, Junia and Malonza spent quality time in the garden. Malonza asked the Namibian if she would Nominate him.

Junia stumbled over her words but eventually told him had an answer for him. "I would be crying. It definitely won't be easy. Yesterday, I had to Nominate someone I live with and chat to in this House. It's insane," she said.

Malonza conceded that the Housemates are faced with an uphill battle, as the StarGame Finale draws closer. "At some point we will probably have to Nominate each other," he said.

Junia was quick to remind him that she would probably see if he pulled the trigger at her, as soon as she hits the Eviction stage.

News: Wati Banned!

Malawian rep Wati has been banned from taking alcohol until further notice!
Wati had a fight with Alex when he went upstairs to his bed and disrupted his sleep, in return, the latter reacted physically and if not for other housemates’ intervention, there could have been a disqualification.
Wati also had a heated verbal exchange with Goldie in the morning during which he called the singer names, insulted her and continued picking on her even after Biggie had intervened and spoke to him in the diary room.
In the afternoon, Biggie gathered all housemates in the lounge where he spoke to the housemates about the incidents and dished out the ban on Wati: “Alex’s response could be seen as bordering on physical violence. Big Brother acknowledges that other Housemates intervened in time and stopped what could have led to violence which could have resulted in disqualification.”
From immediate effect, Wati will not be taking any alcohol until Biggie notices a change in Wati’s behaviour. Alex was also promised a punishment by Biggie because of the way he reacted.

News: Junia In a Serious Relationship With Malonza, uum??

At first while still in Downville when asked about her relationship with Malonza, Junia confirmed that they were only good friends and nothing big was happening between them.
After being upgraded to Upville, the Namibian dame showed that she was seriously missing her good friend Malonza as she couldn’t stop talking about him .
On Sunday after a massive promotion, Junia was happy again to see Malonza back to her life and hardly had he spent a minute in his new Home than deeply Junia kissed him !
Yesterday Junia faced a challenge when an intoxicated Jannete attacked her while in the bedroom. Junia thought that Jannette wanted to fight her because of the Malonza issue as she to was known for having affection for the Kenyan Dude.
Yesterday after the scandal Junia and Malonza had a lengthy kissing which must have increased the two’s affection for each other and changed their relationship status from good friends to a big thing.
In her Diary room this afternoon, when asked by Biggie about the affection in the House, Junia revealed that she is into Malonza seriously and that she’s determined to push it forward.
Junia added that she is living a happy life and  doesn’t want to leave the House with regrets.”I want to use this moment to be happy and I don’t want to get out of this House just wishing,…………..oh I wish I did this when I was still in the House.” Junia stated.
When asked whether she thinks that Malonza feels the sane way as she does, Junia said it point blank that “YES!”
Hmm, finally the Friends With Benefits have developed a serious relationship but do you think that it is serious and they will push it to the next level.

News: Stiff Punishments

Wati has been separated from the herd, while Alex is stuck to the dining table.

Following Wati's unbecoming behaviour while under the influence last night, Big Brother punished the Malawian Housemate by separating him from his fellow Housemates.

Wati will be cooped up in the Glass House until he finishes writing out the Big Brother House Rule Book from start to end. "This way, you will familiarise yourself and get better acquainted with the rules of the House," Big Brother said.

Wati has also been banned from imbibing in any alcohol, because of his failure to control his impulses when under the influence. Alex, on the other hand, will also write out the House Rule Book, while seated at the dining table.

Alex was punished following his near-violent reaction to Wati's drunken provocation.

Diary Room: Jannette Breaks Down

Posted by Henry Tue, 03 Jul 2012
After holding in her frustrations for so long, Jannette eventually broke down this afternoon.

The petite Ugandan has had to deal with everything from rejection, to bad relations with some of her fellow Housemates. Things came to a head this afternoon after Malonza badmouthed her. "I understand that Junia is his girlfriend and I'm okay with that. However, I felt really bad when he said all those things about me," she said, fighting back tears.

Jannette did not go into detail about what exactly Malonza said about her. According to Jannette, Malonza then made an about turn and came to see if she was okay. "I told him exactly how much he had hurt me and how I thought we were friends. I told him to leave me alone. We are not friends anymore," she said.

As a result of the betrayal, Jannette admitted that she has opened her eyes and feels being kind to everyone will be her downfall. "Sometimes I just want to be selfish. I can't though because it is not who I am," she said.

News: They Finally Make Up

News: They Finally Make Up
The love bug has struck the House; Jannette and Junia as well as Goldie and Prezzo showed each other love.

After being at each other's throats for what seems like forever, Jannette and Junia finally buried the hatchet. The two girls who have had Kenyan hottie Malonza at the centre of their misunderstanding seem to have moved on. "I have no issue with anyone in the House. I'm so sorry," Jannette said to the Namibian Housemate.

Jannette further apologized to Junia for throwing a bag with a bottle of alcohol inside and the girls hugged. On that happiness tip, Prezzo and Goldie also made up. After tip toeing around each other for over a week, with Prezzo not even eating her food, the two made up.

For obvious reasons, Goldie was heard giggling from upstairs as her man whispered sweet nothings to her. Hopefully the Kenyan rapper is to be trusted this time around.

Task: It’s A Cooking Challenge

The housemates have been divided into two groups each containing 6 people. There’s therefore a Blue Jannette led team and a Red Goldie led team.
Both teams have wagered 100 percent this week and were confident while revealing their bets to Biggie.
The teams were randomly selected, the Red team includes; Goldie, Junia, Lady May, Keagan, Malonza and Talia while the Blue team includes; Jannette, Keitta, Wati, Kyle, Alex and Prezzo.
Both teams will be competing in different cooking tasks throughout the week and the winning team will be rewarded with luxury from the shopping pantry.
As usual, presentations will be held on Thursday and that’s when the winner will be known after the various cooking tasks that both team are going to be competing in.
Downville lost their wager last week but former residents where lucky enough not to be affected by the consequences of failing a wager as they were dramatically upgraded and houses merged leading to the shut down of Downville.
Hopefully, housemates do not get blinded by the available alcohol and forget all about their tasks as this could make them lose the wager.
Do you think housemates have wagered too much?

News: Goldie Cries again

After having a verbal exchange with Wati and later having a chat with Biggie, Goldie stormed out of the house to cry because she felt Wati had insulted her and called her names.
She coiled her self in the couch outside as she cried in low tones. Talia and Jannette joined her and tried comforting her. She continued crying and complained that Wati was not treating her well and always wants to pick on her.

Talia tried convincing her and said: “He’s a nice intelligent guy when he’s not drunk.” Goldie did not take this in as she said that she did not care whether he was drunk or sober, all she cared about was that Wati styles up and not blame alcohol for the actions.
However, as the ladies were trying to comfort the Nigerian rep, Wati was also outside and continued throwing insults at the top of his voice, this got Talia angry and tried shutting him up.
From the look of things, the house is indeed in for some dramatic action courtesy of alcohol. Hopefully Wati and Goldie patch things up and ease the brewing tension between themselves.

News: Wati And Goldie Fight!

Upville today witnessed another fight from newbie Wati and Goldie shortly after the morning work out session.
An intoxicated Wati attacked Goldie while the latter was working on Keitta‘s hair in the living room.
“You are fake, you have fake hair and eyelashes. You are not real but Iam,” said Wati. Goldie kept on telling the Malawian big haired rep that he was not man enough because he hits on girls in the morning and that he only speaks after getting intoxicated.
Goldie went on to tell Wati that he was not a man because he was the only one who came back in the house with a bruised face yesterday after the boys had gone out in the garden to have some fun. She mocked the intoxicated Malawian man that he came back crying like a baby.
Wati continued calling the Nigerian singer names, she tried controlling her temper and emotions but it was visibly clear that she was already very angry with him.
Keitta, Keagan and Prezzo were also in the living room and only wondered why Wati was picking up a fight with Goldie.
The verbal exchange went on until Biggie intervened and called Wati to the diary room. He spent a few minutes in there and it seemed like Biggie had played the parenting role of counselling the intoxicated Malawian rep because when he came out he was quiet, more calm and shouting nomore.
“Am sorry Goldie,” Wati said. However Goldie did not accept his apologies and simply blushed him off.
Goldie was also called to the diary room by Biggie and by press time, the ‘Don’t Touch My Body’ singer was still in diary room.
The house is indeed in for more drama from the former Downville housemates especially after drinking one to many. With the high alcohol supply in Upville, you can think of what these housemates are taking to Biggie.
What do you think of an intoxicated Wati P?

Finally Uganda Up For Eviction

Kyle and Jannette are the Ugandan representatives in the Big brother Stargame together with Kenya’s Alex and Malonza who were delivered to the Upville house. This was after Nafe and Tamara were evicted while Wati and Talia upgraded to the Upville house.
Seconds into the Upville house, The four housemates were delivered to Upville in a box marking the end of Downville and Upville being the official Big Brother House with all housemates playing as individuals.
Unfortunately for the smuggled Downvillers who found themselves to the Upville house by default, they were not as lucky as Talia and Wati who are safe from eviction this week following their being saved by Africa on Sunday.
On Monday, it was nominations in the Upville house and not the random nomination machine which had ended with the Downville house. Lady May came out with 5 nominations followed by Uganda’s Kyle with 3 nominations and Keagan who is the Head of House, Prezzo, Goldie, and Junia all had 2 nominations.
South Africa’s Keagan replaced himself with Kenya’s Malonza. Meanwhile, Prezzo is officially done with with Goldie because he nominated her and yet she saved him a few days back. This week, Kyle, Malonza, Prezzo, Goldie, Lady May and Junia are up for possible eviction. Start voting for your favorite housemate now!.

Roki, Maneta Eviction A Microcosm Of Zim Culture’

CHINHOYI — MDC-T secretary-general Tendai Biti has said the recent eviction of two Zimbabwean representatives from the Big Brother Africa Stargame, Rockford (Roki) Josphats and Maneta Mazanhi was expected as a culture of violence had permeated the country’s society so much it had become a way of life.
Addressing hundreds of party supporters at Chinhoyi Stadium on Sunday, Biti said Roki and Maneta had portrayed a true reflection of the day-to-day violence that occurred in Zimbabwe, and therefore the duo’s exit from the lucrative BBA Stargame came as no surprise.
“You saw it for yourselves on that Big Brother show on television where our representatives engaged in violence. What did you expect from the two when violence is a daily happening in their country? It was expected of them as violence has become culture in Zimbabwe,” Biti, who is also Finance minister said.
Roki and Maneta were disqualified from BBA after engaging in an ugly violent scene.
During his address, Biti also stirred people’s emotions when he chronicled the brutality the late MDC-T politician and MP Learnmore ‘Judah’ Jongwe suffered at the hands of President Robert Mugabe’s regime, which he said had perfected the art of violence.
“Mugabe has degrees in violence. Imagine people like Nelson Mandela were imprisoned at Robben Island for 27 years and managed to come out alive to become a President but Jongwe stayed in Mugabe’s prison for only three days and died. Those who saw his body in Zhombe would bear witness that Jongwe was murdered. He did not die of natural causes, because his corpse was as black as a pot,” Biti said, urging supporters to shun violence but remove Mugabe through a free-and-fair ballot.
