Feature: A Recap of  Fallen Housemates

Posted By Henry on Mon 2nd Jul 2012

Since the BigBrother Stargame, we have had several housemates evicted from this house, to start off the princes of Zamunda,Teclar from Zimbabwe was evicted first followed by the Tanzanian pair Hilda and Julia. The sole surviver Manete Manzani was moved to upville where she met up with other fellow housemates including Rockie from her own country Zimbabwe.

Before we know it, the second week was on and this did not leave Dalphin, Yadel and Luke in the game as they were chopped head on and only upgrading the winner Zainab to Upville leaving Sierraleone in the game then.

We then saw Ghananian Mildred and the Botswana sisters Edith and Eve leave the bigbrother house as Keitta emerged winner and was upgraded to upville. By this time we saw the nigerian couple Ola and Chris voluntarily exit the game for Ola had complications and had to seek medical attention right away as his situation was worsening day by day. We also witnessed the Angolan pair Seydou and Esperancia exit due to the continuous requests by Esperannncia to leave the bigbrother house, these two voluntary exits left the downville dinner in tears as all housemates didn't know what to do next as they felt they were being left in the dark.

Keagan and Junia then left for upville as their country counterparts Lee and Jessica respectively were evicted from the bigbrother house, and today the 1st of July we have seen Talia and Wati move to upville as their counterparts Tamara and Nafe have gone back home. The four housemates in downville that is Alex, Malonza from Kenya and Kyle and Janette from Uganda have been emerged with with those in the upville house leaving downville empty.

News: A Warm Welcome to Upville Time to Hook Up!

Jannette didn't waste any time sizing Goldie up and cornering her for all the details.

From Goldie's status in Nigeria, Barbz' Evictions and attachments in the House, Jannette wanted the lowdown.

Jannette decided it was only right to let Goldie in on the fact that she loves her alcohol. "I'll probably be nominated because of my drinking habits," she said. Before Goldie could even breathe, Jannette wanted to see her photographs but luckily for Goldie; "I'm very digital," Goldie said, which meant she didn't have any printed pictures.

What Jannette confessed to Goldie though was that she was smitten with the Nigerian singer and couldn't believe they were breathing the same air. Talia could not believe her eyes as well. Talia also filled Junia in about the issues she had with her sister but it wasn't long before she was catching up with her beau, Malonza.

Breaking News: Houses Merged!
Just as the Upvillers were warming up to new arrivals Talia and Wati, Biggie delivered a surprise package for them.

All neatly wrapped up and left in the garden, Jannette, Kyle, Malonza and Alex had been automatically upgraded to Upville. Biggie didn't think it would be fun to have just four Housemates in Downville and decided on the pleasant surprise.

The reactions were electric as the Upvillers saw Jannette, Kyle, Malonza and Alex elevated and revealed to their new Housemates.

The battle lines are drawn and with 12 Housemates in Upville, there will be no peace. Upville started off with just seven Starmates and as the Downvillers started moving in, insecurities set in but with four disqualifications and two Evictions, the Upvillers seemed to have settled down.

How will the merger change the current status quo in the House?

Evictions: Welcome Wati and Talia

Evictions: Trick Welcome to Upville
Wati and Talia were ushered into Upville by a stern looking well-dressed Goldie.

As part of their orientation into the high life, Goldie first introduced them to the president, Prezzo then to an equally exquisite Lady May. She then sat them down and too them through the House Rules and Regulations of Upville.

All the while, the former Downvillers were nowhere to be seen and the new additions didn't seem pleased with the experience.

However, they breathed a huge sigh of relief when familiar faces eventually emerged.

Breaking News: Bye Bye Tamara!

Zambian sister Tamara is the latest eviction victim. The Starmate was evicted as her sister Talia was upgraded to the luxurious Upville house.
After calling the Zambians on the Big Brother Africa stage, IK briefly went through the journey of both housemates before emotionally announcing the verdict to the eagerly awaiting sisters and the Malawian reps.
After tonight’s events, it means that the sisters have been temporarily separated and ofcourse the house will witness no more of their mini-fights.
Talia therefore joins other former Downvillera; Keitta, Junia and Keagan. Downvillers out number the original bunch of Upvillers in the house at the house.
Well, all the best for Talia in her new house and surroundings and hopefully she fits in as soon as possible.
As for Tamara, it’s unfortunate that the house lost her but well it’s part of the game, all the best for in her future endeavors.
What’s your take on the upgrade and the eviction that just took place?

Breaking News: Bye Bye Nafe!

After so much speculation on who would make it to Upville and who would head Homeville, every thing is now clear.
Nafe becomes the other evictee from the Big Brother house leaving behind his compatriot and cousin Wati who was upgraded to Upville.
The humurous Malawian rep had quite an interesting journey while in the house and surely making it this far means he’s already a winner just as Biggie normally assures.
Nafe joins other already evicted housemates in the outside world while Wati joins his former Downvillers in Upville. Keitta, Junia and Keagan (latest HoH) will most definitely fill him in on whatever happens in the house.
The drama is now going to turn to the Upville section after Wati making his way already, you would think that his combination with Keagan and Keitta will surely be a must watch!
All the best for Nafe out there and best wishes to Wati and hope he enjoys a great time in Upville.

News: The Last Supper
With the dark cloud of tonight’s Eviction hanging over their heads, the Housemates of Downville did their best to try and enjoy their last few hours together in the Big Brother House.

The close knit Downvillers spent the afternoon gathered together in the diner enjoying a scrumptious late lunch/early supper. The meal was prepared by Nafe and Kyle who were the appointed Coca-Cola chefs for the day.

As the boys did their thing in the kitchen Talia provided some soothing entertainment as the Nominated Housemate strummed her cares away on the guitar.

Rather than become overly emotional during their mealtime together the Housemates chose to keep the conversation and the mood light-hearted, joking and laughing with one another.

Afterwards the whole gang headed outside and the girls kept the boys company as they puffed away on their cigarettes. Seeing how close the last few remaining Housemates have become, it is clearly going to be an emotional night tonight when two of them are sent home.

News: Don’t Touch This Golden Body
Early this afternoon the Housemates of Upville enjoyed a screening of Goldie’s music video ‘Don’t Touch My Body’ courtesy of Channel O.

The dramatic singer was unusually relaxed for the viewing although the excitement on her glowing face was undeniable the Nigerian expressed her delight in a calm fashion in stark contrast to her theatrical reaction yesterday when all of the Housemates received sentimental messages from their loved one’s back at home. The delighted musician cheered and sang along with her hit track.

As the song played her on/off beau Prezzo tried his best to maintain a stern look on his face but could not help but hum along to the music. “Thank you Big Brother and Channel O,” for playing my video said the songstress beaming proudly.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that Goldie is a talented, beautiful and strong woman all on her own because she is constantly overshadowed by all of the drama with her and Prezzo - it’s great to get a glimpse of the singer doing what she does best.

News: Brand New Looks For Either Upville Or Homeville.

As it is a Big Brother culture that the nominated Housemates are given hairdressing services  on the eviction day, so were  Wati, Nafe, Talia and Tamara.
This morning the Hairdressers came in Downville to do the nominees’ hair to make them look new for the show.
Tamara was the happiest as she  has been all long yearning for her hair to be done. She desperately begged Biggie to put her in Mildred‘s place after when Mildred had snubbed her chance just because they had not brought her the Brazilian weave as she had requested.
Unfortunately, her request was not considered and  since then, she has been   going through her bad hair days but thank God that today her prayers are answered.
Though Wati looked to be comfortable with his Afro hair style, he too had to change to a more beautiful one and look  new .
Nafe also had to do a simple haircut with the incredible designs and labels.
Its  just a few hours to   Live eviction show where we are going to see who are those lucky two that Africa decided to keep in the game.

News: Homeville Or Upville?

 Posted on Jul 01, 2012

At the moment, the talk of the day is all about the evictions. The eviction fever must be high at the moment in whomever has a connection to tonight’s upcoming events, these could the nominees and esteemed Biggie fans.
It’s hardly 6 hours before we find out who of the nominated housemates heads to either Upville or Homeville.
The nominees; Wati and Nafe from Malawi as well as Talia and Tamara from Zambia have all had great stunts in the house, though they have had a few mini-fights but that’s probably part of man, ‘No one is perfect.’
After doing some critical analysis for the past 7 days, some if not all indications have pinned particular Upville and Homeville bound nominated housemates. Here are PREDICTIONS on which nominees are most likely to head Upville or Homeville.
However, these are simply personal opinions and as already stated, they are just PREDICTIONS and therefore have nothing to do with the final verdict of tonight’s upcoming events. As a Big Brother esteemed fan, you probably have your own precious opinion which is highly respected and considered.
Zambian sister Talia seems to be leading her fellow housemates and sister Tamara in the run in to the upgrade this evening, she stands a better chance to make it to Upville tonight.
Malawian big haired rep Wati comes close to Talia, they could actually go head to head tonight. The Starmate could also follow Talia to Upville.
Tamara the other Zambian sister is also very close to Wati but she’s put in third position because of the stiff competition between her and Wati.
Nafe who happens to be Wati’s partner comes close to Tamara and hopefully he joins Upville tonight.
PREDICTIONS: Upville-Talia and Wati.
Homeville-Tamara and Nafe.
Over to you, how did you cast your precious vote?
Which of the 4 reps heads Homeville?
