News: Upville vs Lady May
Upville vs Lady May
It is no secret that the Housemates of Upville are not very fond of Lady May. For three consecutive weeks they have put the songstress on the Eviction chopping block. The Namibian even confided in Biggie a few days ago that she believes that her fellow StarGamers do not like her.

While before her believe that there is animosity between her and her fellow Housemates was merely a hunch, this evening the Starmate got to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. The rest of the Housemates were all in the bedroom when Keitta and Prezzo started pouring their hearts out about their discontent with the eccentric entertainer. “She is stiff. Even Goldie with all of her acting had more flexibility than her,” critiqued the Ghanaian while Prezzo seconded his sentiments and added: “Shorty is crazy.” The Ghanaian model continued his rant about the Namibian as the rest of the StarGamers listened on intently while nodding their head occasionally in agreement.

Little did they all know that while they were dissing her, the celebrity Housemate was actually standing just outside of the bedroom listening in on the conversation. She chuckled to herself and shook her head in disbelief as she took in an earful of insults. Afterwards she headed outside to sleep in the garden and she seemed to still be in shock as she continued to chuckle in the dead of the night all by herself.

News: StarGame Pranksters
What is it about the combination of Keagan and Keitta together that just brings out the inner child in them?

If the Housemates got fines for disturbing the peace then these two rowdy lads would be facing some hefty penalties indeed. Late into the night two of StarGame’s three musketeers went around the House interrupting their fellow StarGamers from their peaceful rest.

They first intruded on Jannette and Prezzo’s heart to heart session and they then woke up both Lady May and Alex who were sound asleep. In each room they barged in on the Housemates as if there was something urgent happening, they pretended to be in a frenzy muttering inaudible phrases at them while rushing them out of bed.

So what exactly was the point of all of this hullaballoo? Nothing more than good laugh for the boys at their fellow Housemate’s expense.

Naughty, naughty

Who Has The Sexiest Body?
Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the sexiest of them all? This evening the Housemates decided to get a little rest and relaxation at their favourite chill spot - the Big Brother Africa Jacuzzi.

Of course Jacuzzi time means only one thing – bikini time. The StarGamers all shed off their clothes to reveal their hot bodies in their many shapes and forms.

Short or tall, dark or light, athletic, petite or curvy StarGame has it all. So no matter what your taste you are bound to find at least one Housemate that tickles your fancy.

Kyle, Jannette, Talia, Prezzo, Lady May, Keitta, Keagan, Alex or Wati, tell us out of all the remaining Housemates who do you think has the sexiest body?

News: Keagan’s Annoying Drinking Habits
Have you ever found yourself on a chilly winter’s night sitting down on the couch to enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate or coffee when all of a sudden there is a loud slurping sound resonates from the person sitting next to you? This was the predicament that the Upvillers found themselves in this evening.

The Housemates gathered in the living room today to try and warm up after spending a little time in the soaking in the lukewarm jaccuzi. The guys and girls were all enjoying some hot chocolate when all of a sudden Keagan starting obnoxiously slurping on his beverage. If looks could kill then the StarGamer’s icy stares would have pierced right through the South African. “My ears are bleeding,” Wati complained. But it was clear that Kyle was the most annoyed out of them all, “Do you think that is funny?” he snipped sarcastically.

Unfortunately for them their protestations fell on deaf ears as Keagan continued on with his annoying habits and seemed to enjoying just how much he was getting on everyone’s nerves. Seriously some people should come with a mute button for moments like these.

Since their stint on the show these good looking and talented lads have done pretty well for themselves and now they will finally be making a much anticipated return to the BBA to perform hit tracks from their collaborative CD ‘Double Wowza'.

He was one of the three presenters chosen out of 500 hopefuls and has since become one of the most recognized DJ’s in Malawi. His first release was a successful yet controversial mixtape called “Rumors of War”, which is a collection of hard-hitting hip-hop tracks that quickly gained him recognition on the Malawian urban music scene.

His appearance on Big Brother Africa Amplied helped propel him to international status when he made it as one of the top four finalists. The highlight of his career to date is being the official DJ for South African jazz legend, Hugh Masekela’s tour in Malawi. The big hearted Malawian is also a goodwill ambassador for the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme).

News: No More Three Musketeers?

Fri, 20 Jul 2012

News: No More Three Musketeers?
The dreaded Eviction chop is now only two days away and for some of the Nominees it is clear that is all that is on their mind lately.

This evening Wati, Keagan and Keitta, or the three musketeers as Prezzo likes to call them, were gathered in the garden when the subject of Eviction came about. From their conversation it is evident that all of them are trembling in their boots at the thought of getting axed from StarGame at this stage of the game.

“I am going home,” proclaimed Wati but Keagan quickly encouraged his friend to have faith and that it is ultimately in the hands of Africa and it is anybody’s guess who will eventually be sent home this Sunday. The South African added, “It could be me that is going home”. But little does he know that his Head of House, Kyle, ensured him another week in the House when he removed him from the list of Nominees and replaced him with Keitta. Which is great news for the South African but quite unfortunate for the Ghanaian.

This means that there are still two of the three close friends that are up for possible Eviction this Sunday and one of them could be the one that is sent to Homeville. Could this Sunday be the end of StarGame’s mischievous three musketeers?

News: Lady May vs Lady May
It is clear that Lady May does not need any accompany to keep amused, this little lady is entertainment unto herself.

Over the past few weeks we have become accustomed to seeing the Namibian shunning the other Housemates in favour of her own company. So it was no surprise to see her in solitude once again today but what did raise our eyebrows is seeing the Starmate facing off against her own self.

While most normal people would choose to challenge one of the many people in the House for a two person game of Solitaire the same kind of logic does not apply to Lady May, the Namibian chose to face off against her own self. Oh well, at least she already knows who the winner will be – Lady May of course.

News: Keitta and Jannette Winding and Grinding

News: Keitta and Jannette Winding and Grinding
The Housemates had a raunchy start to their Friday evening as Keitta and Jannette put on a show for them.

The duo put the best foot forward, literally, as the frisky Ugandan gave Keitta a one on one lesson on how to wind and grind while the rest of the Upvillers looked on and cheered for them. Unfortunately for them their height difference made things a little difficult for them but of course they did not let that get in their way. Where there is a will there is a way and so the petite StarGame lass hopped on the bed while the Ghanaian lad held onto her from behind. When that failed to accomplish the mission she then pulled a chest of drawers and leapt on top of it.

As always bad boy Keagan tried to instigate a little mischief, “Move closer,” he repeatedly told the two. You certainly can always count on Keagan to try and stir things up. But it seems that the dirty dancing started to get a little bit much for the South African as he then jokingly queried: “Do you know your mother is watching?”

News: Channel O Music Hour Rocks

News: Channel O Music Hour Rocks
After a rather boring day, the Housemates finally kicked off their weekend with some awesome tunes, courtesy of Channel O.

There was excitement in the House when Big Brother's Channel O Music Hour kicked. A selection of music videos from across the African continent, as well as from international artists, were played - as is the norm on Friday afternoons.

The Housemates went crazy when Naeto C, Nas and DJ Zinhle's videos were played. All eyes were glued to the television screen as Biggie beamed in the live Channel O broadcast.

The Housemates are set to groove to similar tunes at tomorrow's eagerly anticipated party, during which DJ Kool Moe Dee from Zimbabwe will set the decks ablaze.

News: Entertaining Themselves
The Housemates had to find ingenious ways to entertain themselves this afternoon.

After a mentally exhausting Head Of House Task, the Housemates had their lunch and then lounged about. Some of the more energetic Housemates entertained themselves with a game of soccer, while others preferred to lay back and enjoy the sun's rays on the patio.

Keitta and some of the other Housemates decided to spend their entire afternoon dancing on the lawn. Looking like gorgeous video vixens and hunks, the gang moved into me to the beat.

Some of the Housemates that have two left feet even got to score a couple of lessons from StarGame’s resident dance master, Keitta.

News: Wati The Guitarist

In the early afternoon shortly after the Head of House Task, Wati and Talia got together for a bonding session where Wati played the Guitar teacher.
Talia is close to the boys and when it comes to Wati, the Zambian dame is committed. She was also kind enough to take Wati’s food upstairs when the Malawian star was feeling unwell yesterday.
Well, it was pay back time and surely Wati paid back well. He played the guitar as Talia looked on. He gave her a few tips on how to play the instrument in order to enhance her skills. Apart from being good at numbers, it seems WatiP has a few more skills to offer.
They went on practicing for some time and Talia seemed to have mastered a few skills.
So many things have tried bringing housemates together and recently, there has been a sense of togetherness in the house. Hopefully, this continues.

News: Pondering The Next Move

With 75 days gone and only 16 days remaining, some housemates seem to be having a long boring day without much action.
Since morning, there has been only one task; the Head of House Task which was won by Wati but after that, some housemates were engrossed in their little lonely worlds and probably thinking of the next move.
After the HoH task, Prezzo decided to spend some time seated outside but the Kenyan rapper appeared to be in deep thoughts though boredom can also be attributed to the mood.
For much of the week, housemates have taken part in numerous tasks and activities but soon after the presentations, there seemed to be nothing occupying their time and thus boredom clearly sunk in.
Well, there are a few activities lined up for them with the Saturday Night Party on tomorrow.
But trust Biggie, he will surely come to the housemates’ rescue and thus do away with the boredom.

News: "We Made It" - Keitta

Fri, 20 Jul 2012

News:
Keitta and Wati took a moment to reflect on their journey from relative obscurity, to being beamed into living rooms across.

Africa. The two Housemates enjoyed some downtime after the Head of House Task, which was won by Wati.
Wati called his experience in the Big Brother "a kind of rebirth. Definitely a turning point".

Keitta seemed to agree with Wati's sentiments and revealed how incredible being in the Big Brother House has been for him.

"It has been one hell of an experience. The fact that we made it this far is surreal. The next step is how we live our lives once Big Brother is over. That will determine whether we end up successful or not," he said.

News: Will Wati Follow Goldie As HOH?

Today Wati has won the Head of House task in the period when he is up for this week’s possible eviction.
Last week, we had a similar scenario where Nigeria’s Goldie hads won the task and was just waiting for a Monday to start serving her term. Unfortunately, luck was not by her side as she never survived the Evictions and we saw her leaving the House.
Kyle who was the second run-up in the task , was given the throne and became the Head of House who is still serving up to Sunday.
The question is, Will Wati P survive the eviction and serve his term?….
Well, if he doesn’t and we are to go with the same procedure as last week,it means that Talia will have to take over. This is so because the Zambian was the one who battled up with Wati in the task’s finals.
What do you think of Wati’s Victory?, Is he going to serve his term or he is going home?

Breaking News: Salute Captain Wati!

Malawian rep Wati has won the Head of House Task which means he’s next week’s Captain.
He beat off stiff competition from Talia who stormed the final round with him after the rest of the other housemates had failed to make it.
After the Task brief, housemates were required to gather in the garden and stand at the different spots provided. Each housemate was provided with a clipboard and a pen. Biggie gave housemates a mathematical sum to calculate but were required to write down only answers without the calculation procedure.
All housemates participated in the first round and the first sum was read. Housemate(s) with the right or closest answer would make it to the next round, however, only Wati and Talia made it to the final round and they were also given a mathematical sum to calculate with Wati coming up with the right answer thus becoming the next sheriff.
Meanwhile, the Malawian is nominated for possible eviction come Sunday and only time will tell if he’ll live to serve his term. All the same, congratulations to him!
Do you think Wati will serve his HoH term next week?

News: Moody House

After yesterday’s Wager victory, housemates woke up in high spirits this morning and Keitta was not an exception.
The Ghanaian got busy with the music playing in the background as he sang and made a few dance moves with ‘Azonto’ inclusive of course.
The StarGamer danced in front of the big mirror in the lounge and he looked unstoppable at what he was doing as he enjoyed every moment.
The session went on for a while until he had had enough. Later Wati joined in and the pair chatted the morning away.
It certainly is a great moment to see that housemates are having fun in the house and getting along well.

‘King Of Pranks’ Back

Remember the ‘King of Pranks’? Well, ‘His Majesty’ is back with yet another set of pranks but this time, he is not doing his mischief alone because the gang has grown.
After the victorious Task Presentations yesterday, the boys including Keitta (‘King of Pranks’), Wati, Keagan, Kyle and Prezzo were in a jovial mood and decided to entertain themselves with a prank they pulled on the unsuspecting Alex.
Alex was downstairs having a conversation with Jannette and he hardly had any idea what awaited him upstairs. The gang stripped his bed of its linen, shuttled the mattress to the other room and then made the bed. When Alex attempted to go upstairs to have a rest, the boys started low tone laughs and scrambles but poor Alex didn’t notice anything and when he tried settling in, he was surprised at the state his bed was in.
Well, should we say the ‘King Of Pranks’ is back after this successful stunt? We can only wait and see what else is coming from the gang.
