Photos: Eazzy ‘Screams’ On KOD’s Rhythms On The Runway

Style…Color…Creativity…Beauty…all these culminated in making the Rhythms On The Runway by KOD’s NINETEEN57 an event one looks forward to every year. If a word best describes the stage and runway…AWESOME.
The media hype of celebrities taking to the runway which is one factor that actually fueled people’s interest in the show. Keitta , Benny Blanco, Black Boy, Captain Planet , Sandra Ankobea, and Eazzy were a few of the celebrities who strut the runway at the Golden tulip Hotel last Sunday.
‘One Girl’ who really did make a bold statement on the is EAZZY. She walked so fierce with much energy…posing as a professional model with no misgivings. Strutting the runway, grabbing the microphone, taking off her shoes, rapping and singing to her new single SCREAM is enough reason to unconsciously obey one of her old songs “Bo Wo Nsem Ma Me”. She left the audience wanting more of the model in her. And indeed we were surprised as KOD promised…RAIN!!!

Kenyan BBA 8 Candidates To Do Final Interviews Next Week in South Africa

After auditions held in Nairobi late last month, the search for Kenya’s Big Brother Africa representative is headed to South Africa. John “OJ” Oballa and Shaffie Weru were the top candidates for the house finalists after a post from the BBA website claimed that all the female contestants from Kenya failed to impress.
However, socialite Huddah Monroe is among those going for the final interview in South Africa. We confirmed that OJ will also be going which means he could be one of the two representatives of Kenya at the house. Shaffie Weru was shy to tell us whether he is going to the final interview in South Africa.
We wish the contestants all the best.

Juliet Ibrahim’s Boõbs Leave Uti Mad

Winner of Big Brother season 5 Uti Nkwachukwu could not take his eyes off Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim’s two balls when they met at A.Y’s comedy show over the weekend. The photo below says it all.

Sharon O Joins The Socialite

Sharon O is one person who fits Prezzo’s description of himself as calm, cool and collected. The selfless beauty queen is conscious of her public image with a life style more of a socialite than a musician.
Last weekend  Sharon O with Uganda’s re-known socialite Judith Heard and Jackie Klein making a grand entrance at Club Venom for the Judith Heard Fashion Show as pals Gareth and Nickita posed for a photo shoot..!
Judith Heard and Sharon O shared a moment at Kabalagala based night spot – Club Venom during the fashion show that was organized by Judith Heard in conjunction with Elyt Magazine on Good Friday. Like the swag?

Is Keagan being Ignored By Media...Read here?

If you have  been following ex-big brother stargame housemates after the grand finale show on 5, October, you realize that there’s no much talked about Keagan the lucky $300,000 winner.  Any how the big cash winner had promised to chill as his fatty account lies safe in the bank.
We are only wondering whether Keagan also developed cold feet in the media like Jannette who is rumored to be avoiding the media and publicity back home. Though Keagan has been spot in several happening places in his home city, little about Mr ‘Sheriously’ has been written even by home paparazzi.
Honestly the seventh edition winner woe many hearts across the continent and his fan base Kept on growing to the extent that fans across the continent question why the man they put to the helm has been ignored by the media.
The questions is, has Keagan shied away from publicity or he could be on the drawing board on how to spend his cash. Which other housemate do you miss most as we trace Keagan’s hideout.

Scenes From The Jiggers Campaign With Millicent and Denrele

Last week but one, Eccentric Nigerian Channel O VJ Denrele Edun left Thika residents in awe after spending hours cleaning their jigger- infested feet.
Denrele, who had accompanied Ahadi Kenya Trust’s Stanley Kamau and former Big Brother Africa Amplified contestant Millicent Mugadi to Kiangata Primary School, immediately became a darling of the villagers from his unique dress code, his wild hair and his trademark blocked boots.
Despite the language barrier, many scrambled to have a word with him.
Denrele was shocked by the extent of the damage to the villagers’ feet.
“It’s not like we do not have jiggers in Nigeria but the problem here is big. I’m very glad to have been part of this exercise and I promise to go and tell this to my fellow Nigerians especially the celebrities and see how we can help,” Denrele told Word Is.
Meanwhile, Ahadi Trust CEO Stanley Kamau was a bit disappointed in the turnout that day, blaming it on the teachers’ strike.
“Teachers really help us in identifying the students infested by jiggers but since they are not here our campaign for this weekend has been a bit slow. The government should come up with a solution to end this mess and that it does not happen again,” he said.

The ‘Dirty’ Lifestyle Of Uti Nwachukwu EXPOSED!

His name is Uti Nwachukwu; some call him Ugo Na Chonmma, others refer to him as Omoge to Rewa or the Hausa title kyakywar yarinya (gorgeous damsel).
The story of Uti will not only set the pace for blockbuster chart but is capable of re-orientating most struggling young lads out there. He is an ex-Big Brother Africa winner and sometime in the past there had been very audible speculations about his sexuality. But that has in no way stopped the viciously ambitious young man from forging ahead. It is a known fact that most housemates and winners of both reality and talent shows become very irrelevant not too long after their rise to spontaneous stardom but for Uti, that is not the case as he has come in full blast into the world of entertainment.
From acting to presenting even to comedy shows, he’s calling the shots but it is in the area of style and fashion that his profile has witnessed the most astronomical rise. Local designers court him faster than Harry Winston does with Hollywood stars. There is no red carpet event that he does not attend looking glamorous and expensively trendy, give it to him, his swagger is unrivaled.
But in recent times, it is Uti’s sexuality that has become a hot topic amongst most Lagos big boys and girls and the sole reason is simply because he has not conducted his affairs with discretion. The reason why this open secret has somehow evaded the front pages of tabloids is due to his impeccable public relations and close ties with those style, fashion and celebrity editors. It is pertinent to note that in addition to being a style icon, Uti has become the most celebrated gay icon from this side of the divide.
Young boys who are either bisexuals or homosexuals look up to him for inspiration with the belief and confidence that if he could then they can surely do. Uti shares his 1004 apartment on the up-market Victoria Island with his alleged live-in-lover Alex Ekubo whose only credential to fame is contesting the former Mr. Nigeria pageant. To justify their living together, Uti would always refer to Alex as his “publicist”; he tells you that Alex manages his social commitments hence they have to live together.
The affair between Uti and Alex is typical of what is obtained in the gay community there’s never total loyalty and 100%

Submission to the other partner that explains why Uti still has his many other casual flings and Alex does his own by the side. But contrary to that impression, they have been dating since their path crossed and were they to be living in any western country this relationship would have most likely had some sort of legalization to it, but unfortunately this is Nigeria where we pretend to have zero tolerance for this abnormal love relationship. Perfectly illustrate how their affair thrives it will be important to simplify the gay strata; in the gay world there are three stanzas: top, bottom, and versatile. The top is the man in the relationship and he penetrates the bottom who acts as the woman in the relationship. The versatile is that lover who can play both roles. Gorgeous Alex who is not only the man in this relationship but well-endowed in the down region has built a reputation amongst his previous lovers and it was a devastation when they lost him to the passionately erotic Uti who has an insatiable quest for fun.
Uti has undying fleets of female admirers but in his closet he would laugh at them because they are all in search of the same thing he’s looking out for. That explains why he has no girlfriend despite his super fit look. This prompted one of the Island big girls who have exhausted all tricks in the book trying to woo Uti to make a move she will live to regret. She was invited to their 1004 apartment and she went with the delusion of climaxing her best ecstasy only to receive an indescribable shock! After the usual tete-a-tete Uti left her in the sitting room and returned to the bedroom, when it was taking too long she decided to try her luck by heading to the bedroom only to find Alex and Uti in a very uncompromising position. She ran to the sitting room, picked her bag and dashed off, even with apologies that came after, she still feels humiliated as they should have waited for her to leave before getting dirty.
That is just a tip of the iceberg into the erotically flamed relationship between the two “supermodels”. At the last Arise fashion show held at the Federal Palace Hotel,Uti made sure designers who signed him on also signed on Alex otherwise he wouldn’t work with them, this was to make sure that his darling boyfriend is part and parcel of that prestigious show. It was a rude shock to a lot of those present but they cared less because being on the runway of such a well-publicized fashion show was going to be hugely beneficial to Alex’s rising profile.
They travel in and out of the country together, all sponsored by Uti, but that is not to say that fine boy Alex has not worked for the perks he has put in all his energy and strength in his “official” duties as his “publicist” but is also very difficult for them as they cannot make this affair public. Without an iota of doubt Alex is not only Uti’s commitment as they seem to have an open sort of arrangement.
In Abuja, Uti has become one scandalous high flyer, on numerous occasions his name has been dragged into many boyfriend-snatching scandals prompting one of Abuja leading gay flyers to declare him unwanted in his circle of friends. The way he rolls his eyes and bats his eyelid add that to his high octane preening, Uti prides himself as having the ability to bend a straight guy.
His undoing is his lousiness in dropping the names of important personalities that have greased his oil well and how powerfully connected he has become, unknown to him even his close friends might be wearing encrypted wrist watches capable of audio recording voices his house or hook-up spot. Uti’s case is not isolated, when a popular pop star was ousted he quickly picked a student from one of the remote universities in the eastern part of the country and tied the knot with her (which normal girl will not want an upgrade no matter the conditions attached).

This kind of case is not only peculiar with Nigeria. Ppopular US talk show host and queen of gossip on American TV last month called Kanye West gay on her talk show “Two Sisters Living Together” referring to his well-publicised relationship with reality superstar, Kim Kardashian. In 2009, 50 cent also referred to Kanye West as gay in a live radio broadcast while fielding questions on rap culture.
They are just a confirmation of the sexuality rumours that have surrounded the rap mogul, Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has been a subject of eternal gay rumour leading comedians like Fashion Police host Joan Rivers to openly call him gay on her hugely popular fashion programme. Until his latest series of gay scandal where over half a dozen men have come out to claim that John Travolta sexually abused them in their massage parlour, most bloggers and tabloids in America have consistently maintained that Travolta was gay even though he is married with kids to actress Kelly Preston.
In Nigeria today the number of well-meaning Nigerians who are married yet remain gays is to put it mildly explosive, if only the public knew how they have been fooled, including the Nollywood hunk of South Eastern origin who has wrongly led all to believe that he made his millions dating powerful and rich women in the society, whereas he acquired his financial liquidity greasing the oil well of a former south-south governor or the married record label owner who must taste your chocolate stick before he signs you on his label.
This exponential list could contain your husband, father, brother, fiance or even son hence it will be good not to quickly pass judgments on the likes of Uti and company.

Samini And Hanni of Big Brother Amplified Get Serious

Reliable information reaching Peacefmonline.com indicates that International Ghanaian Afro-Reggae star Samini and Ethiopian Big Brother Amplified housemate Hanni have taken their rumored relationship to the recording studio.
The two first met at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra on Friday evening September 7, 2012 during the Guinness VVIP party in the Hotel’s ballroom.
After Peacefmonline.com cameras captured award winning Samini planting a very passionate kiss on Hanni’s cheeks whiles Hanni obviously enjoyed the attention with a smile, they have taken their chemistry to the studio and recorded a smash hit single titled “You’re bad”.
The single by Hanni featuring Dancehall show stopper Samini, was recorded in music Producer Jam Master J’s (JMJ) studio in Dansoman. This goes to confirms Peacefmonline.com’s initial report that the two may end up in the studio.
Even though Hanni has not publicly professed her feelings for Samini, she has indirectly disclosed her likeness for the ‘sexy don dada’ in the hit single if lyrics of the dialog song are anything to go by. The lyrics suggest that Hanni is seriously in Love with Samini even though he is a bad boy and nothing can stop her.
Hanni came to Ghana to support her fellow Ghanaian Amplified housemate Confidence Haugen to launch her new “Konfidence” fashion label, she however seem to have gotten something else in Ghana which is making her stay after her other housemates; Vimbai from Zimbabwe, Karen and Vina from Nigeria, Millicent from Kenya and Lomwe from Malawi have all left to their respective countries leaving Hanni behind.
The beautiful Ethiopian singer and a qualified lawyer who is still in Ghana have been spotted together with Samini on several occasions aside their studio sections. Peacefmonline.com also gathers that Hanni has also recorded songs with other Ghanaian musicians including Ga Rapper Tinny, Richie of Lynx Entertainment among others.
According to our investigations plans are far advanced for Hanni to shoot a video for one of the songs she has recorded in Ghana before she leaves the country and according a close source Hanni wants to shoot the video for her single with Samini because she would obviously enjoy being on set with the “Sweet Mistake” hitmaker. Keep reading for more information as we watch how far this goes.

2face And Uti Nwachukwu Among Others, Honoured By Oba Of Benin

Hardwork, perseverance and dedication to one’s art will always be recognized sooner or later. Not minding his relatively young age or state of origin, the Oba of Benin Kingdom, Oba Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa yesterday in Benin, Edo state gave honour to whom it was due as he recognized and honored African pop icon Innocent “2face” Idibia.
The event which celebrated the ‘Oba of Benin as a Preserver’ was attended by a number of personalities including Big Brother Africa winner Uti Nwachukwu and Nollywood movie producer Lancelot Imaseun Oduwa amongst others.
The 37-year-old musician who was one of few personalities so honoured by the Oba, was given two wrist bands made of beads. A very excited 2face took to his Twitter page to show off his beads while he wrote;
‘Oba of Benin just gave me some royal beads! I’m so excited and honoured! One love 2 Benin kingdom’.

I Didn’t Endorse Prez Mahama – DKB

I have noticed with worrying consent how a news item carrying information claiming I endorsed President John Mahama for the 2012 elections which is causing serious havoc to my personality.
I was recommend as an m.c for the launch of VFM (Volunteers For Mahama) due to my expertise in manning events with humorous antics of which I delivered to satisfaction. I would not run away from those comments I made, I totally own up to them. However I need to clear the air on this issue; I was an m.c not a volunteer, As an m.c I must endeavour to not only inform the audience but entertain them as well since the event was intertwined with musical performances hence I did politically related jokes with ONLY the purpose of entertaining the audience and nothing more but to my surprise the joke was taken out of context and it metamorphosized into highly politically motivated sentiments, which I deem too far fetched since its purpose was misconstrued.

I am only an entertainer and have no affiliation with any political party in other words I was on the podium doing my job. I don’t have my name in any political party’s record as a member, affiliate, endorser, sympathizer etc therefore my utterances carry no political weight.
Furthermore you would realise I gave frivolous reasons why I would rather John Mahama because he uses an i pads and blackberry therefore he is as youthful as I am and also juxstaposing my violence scandal against the “all die be die” mantra etc all these I said with no touched of seriousness but only to evoke laughter, frankly blackberries, ipad and mantras are not good enough reasons why I would endorse a political party. I respect everyone’s affinity for their respective political parties and I would never say anything to deliberately provoke or disrespect them its rather unfortunate my purpose for the comments was overstretched

Lilanda, Osborne seek to pacify Kay and Mampi

The recent wrangles between Mampi and Kay have been tabloid folder for weeks now. The argument as to who started it has caused two camps to emerge – Team Mampi and Team Kay and the argument has taken root on twitter and facebook. This was after a physical fight between the two musicians at the Lusaka Playhouse during rehearsals for a concert when a long standing feud between the two divas ended in a slap-and-claws session. However, many have spoken out about how the problem does not lie with who started the fight but the fight itself. Veteran female artistes have also spoken out and urged the two artistes to bury the hatchet. Jane Osborne and Maureen Lilanda are undoubtedly etched as Zambia’s favourite song birds thus they are better placed to give some much needed advice to Kay and Mampi. The disappointment felt by Jane Osborne over the fight is evident in her voice.

“I was disappointed when I read about it because they are sending out a very bad message to people.”
Jane said adding that God has blessed them with great talent to make people happy and forget their problems but the two are using it in a bad way instead of setting up a good example for their fans.
“I am a fan of both of them but I am disappointed that they are wasting their God given talent , my advice would be for them to make up and even work together instead of selling themselves negatively.”
The legendary Jane’s advice that there is no need to fight is timely and has been reiterated by Maureen ‘Lupo’ Lilanda.

Maureen emphasises the need for artistes to be humble citing her Christian beliefs as the basis for her advice.
“Even we older female artistes have had beefs but we have learnt to be diplomatic because you will at some point work together whether you like it or not,”she said.
Maureen added that as a Christian she has learnt to ignore people who she does not get along with and that she believes in one staying true to one self.
“There is no need to out-do yourself, concentrate on what you are doing well as an artiste.”
Maureen further adds that in as much as competition makes you stronger there is no need for physical confrontation or petty jealousy about material possessions.
The two legends have spoken and a well-known Zambian proverb says that a child who does not hear when little is uttered will never hear when a lot is said.
We only hope that the two artistes will heed the advice readily given to them by two of the country’s music legends.

It is worth noting that being a female artiste already comes with a lot of prejudice and misconceptions and having two highly prolific artistes fight is damaging to the industry.
As Jane Osborne says, talent must never be misused or it can be taken away so put back those claws and compete musically not physically.

Prezzo's Past, Present and Future

Tony Mochama digs into the past and present and future of different celebrities. This week he gives us the star-scope of musician and BBA contestant Jackson Makini, aka Prezzo.
The past
Prezzo’s story starts somewhere in the middle of 2004, when he makes that infamous chopper hop to Carnivore — thus single-handedly launching the local celebrity ‘high-flying’ culture.
Soon, scandal, groupies and bling are dogging his every move, as his love partners are put under the glare of the media microscope, club drama rapturously reported and high living lavishly laid out, magazine-esque.
The present
Along comes Big Brother, the 2012 StarGame, and it becomes the media vehicle that will redeem Prezzo’s image in the eyes of very many Kenyans – and resurrect him. Although el Presidente doesn’t win the $ 300 000, he wins the hearts of many in Africa .
The future
Starscope sees Prezzo doing a memoir called Big Bro Prezzo in the near future, going into politics, and becoming the Kanjora of Kilimani in Nairobi by 2013.
He will hope one day Prezzo will marry Goldie, the Nigerian, and move to Abuja where he will set up as a businessman.
But a scandal called ‘Golden-Butt’ will erupt in West Africa, and Prezzo will flee back to Kenya in 2044 — and release his first song for decades with the lyrics: “Abuja hakuna avunja…Naija si Kenya”
