News: Rapper Nas Makes StarGame Appearance

News: Rapper Nas Makes StarGame Appearance
Prolific American rapper Nas made an appearance in the Big Brother House early this evening as a ONE Campaign celebrity ambassador.

Overwhelmed does not even begin to describe the state of the Housemates as the popular Hip Hop star popped up on the TV screen. “I have no doubt that in your heart of hearts you want to see Africa become the jewel of the world and I have no doubt that you can be the change that you want to see,” he enthused.

After seeing the rapper’s special message to them the StarGamers were in disbelief as Wati exclaimed “Nastradamus” repeatedly meanwhile Talia mused: “This is some big stuff guys, this is huge.” Rapper Prezzo tried to get Big Brother to play the video again but to no avail.

Nas is one of many celebrities that have made an appearance in Upville this week as part of the ONE Campaign Task.

News: Jannette Gets Poetic

News: Jannette Gets Poetic
With all of Jannette’s wild antics it can be a bit hard to fathom that once a born a time she was just an innocent wide-eyed little girl.

But early into this evening we got a glimpse of the angelic girl that used to be. The Ugandan was stricken by a bout of nostalgia of her early school days and so she decided to do a recital of her two poems from her childhood. Talia and Keagan were chosen as the audience for this poetic performance.

The first poem that she recited was about judgement day. She put on quite a show for her fellow StarGamers, as she accompanied every lyric with animated actions and even modified her voice for each of the characters in her poem. Afterwards she received a round applause from her audience and Keagan was particularly impressed that she could still remember all of the words so many years later. “You should use your memory for something constructive,” advised the South African.

Well, well it looks like Lola Fierce has been banished for the night. But how long will it be until the frisky Upviller is back to her raunchy ways?

Diary Room: "Why Should We Suffer?"

Thu, 26 Jul 2012

Diary Room:
Some of the Housemates are not too happy with the punishment meted out by Biggie this afternoon.

Many of the Housemates voiced out their frustrations in the Diary Room, at the punishment Big Brother handed them, after Wati broke his alcohol ban. This eventually led to Big Brother cutting half of their booze supply.

Prezzo and Lady May in particular, were very vocal about the issue. "He was very inconsiderate. He has such a big head and thinks he is untouchable," Lady May said.

Prezzo also did not hold back. "I'm glad that Biggie handed out some sort of punishment, because he broke the rules. However, I do not understand why we should all suffer for one man's actions. Anyway, they do say 'All for one and one for all" he said.

Starting today, the Housemate will receive half of their booze orders.

Party: Give It Up For DJ Pita!

This weekend, it’s Uganda’s turn in the DJ box as one of the country’s finest DJs; DJ Pita will be spinning the discs.
It seems only Sanyu Fm deejays get the chance to do their thing in the Big Brother house after the station’s partnership with the reality show. Last year it was Val Oketcho (who has since joined Capital Fm) and this weekend it will be DJ Pita (real name Peter Kizito Kitaka) who will jam the wheels of steel.
Kizito replaced DJ Beekay and he told Star Trail, that he is ready to stamp his mark on Africa when he gets his chance. Pita will be rocking the house on July 28 and again on Sunday July 29 during the eviction show.
Currently, DJ Pita is a DJ at Sanyu FM, where he has been for the past 8 years. He is also the Assistant Music Programmer at the radio station.
The building is definitely going down come Saturday and Sunday, the housemates must watch out!

Breaking News: Biggie Punishes Housemates!

Biggie has punished housemates courtesy of Wati‘s alcohol problems.
The Malawian housemates has continued drinking alcohol even after Big Brother made it clear that he’s not supposed to take any alcohol for as long as he stays in the StarGame house.
Big Brother had made it clear at the time he banned Wati from taking alcohol that in case he took any alcohol again, the whole house will have to suffer as a result. He (Biggie) also quoted: “One for all and all for one!” though most housemates feel they shouldn’t be suffering because of Wati.
Meanwhile, Keagan admitted during his diary session that he’s the one who gave Wati the alcohol.
Therefore, Biggie has decided to halve the Housemates’ alcohol supply. This means that the supply is going to be as limited as possible.
What’s your take on the punishment?

Updates: Lady May and Talia Diary Session

Talia Diary Session

She promises a heartfelt speech during tonight’s task presentation.
About cooking for the less fortunate; she says that the cooking is just finished and they are now doing the dishing.
She adds that she’s always wanted to help pple and its always been a dream. She had been doing this tho’ on a small scale. According to her, doing it on a large scale coupled with international Celebs like 2face and Bono is a milestone for her.
When asked “What’s the one thing you would take away in order to replace it with another for the betterment of the less fortunate?”, she suggests to take away the large expenditure on drinking and expensive clothing. She fancies Keagan‘, Kyle‘ and Prezzo‘s T/shirts designs and suggests that they deserve to win the top prize of the best T/shirt designs.

Lady May Diary Session

She extracted her tooth and despite the effects that come with the procedure, she would like to continue with her diary session nevertheless. She however didn’t have to talk much as they were cooking the food bcoz of the fresh wound in her mouth.
After cooking for the less fortunate, she feels that its just another continuation of her charity work since she likes cooking for the less fortunate back home.
She advises that they have to continue with this initiative if they are to make a difference in the communities they live.
She also wants to keep in touch with the One campaign foundation and continue with its work as she spreads the awareness back home in Namibia.
When asked about whom she thinks deserves to win the best designed T/shirt; she points out Talia whom according to her, Talia drew beautiful sad faces of Africa and thinks that Talia is genius bcoz she’s an excellent artist and very brilliant.
When asked “What’s the one thing you would take away in order to replace it with another for the betterment of the less fortunate?”; She talks of poverty as she refers Biggie to some areas in Africa where there’s extreme poverty. She wants to depot poverty back to where it came from.
When asked about Wati‘s alcohol ban disobedience; she says that Wati thinks he’s the smartest guy bcoz he’s good in arithmetic. She argues that one can be smart in medicine but when it comes to law, the person goes blank. So wati thinks he’s the untouchable of the house. She chooses not to continue with Wati’s discussion.
Before she exits the diary room, she talks of the fact that she never expected a tooth extraction and instead wanted her tooth sealed. She’s therefore feeling traumatized as a result of the procedure and can’t speak well.
As she leaves, she reminds Biggie of her previous foundation request with a whisper.

Task: Cooking For The Less Fortunate

Housemates are facing another huge task; to cook for 25 people.
They will have to team up and make use of the ingredients in the pantry, alongside items that Biggie has provided.
As part of their 100% Wager, all housemates have to contribute towards the cause.
Meanwhile, ONE Campaign ambassador 2Face Idibia will pick the food and give it to the less fortunate.
Do you think housemates will come out tops in this huge task?

Updates: Jannette and Keagan Dairy Session

Jannette Dairy Session

She’s fine and excited to meet 2face again. She thought 2face was coming to the house again as opposed to taking items to the needy children.
On housemate’s performance, she says that she’s confident they will win the wager as its obvious every housemate can make a speech.
She also talks of having learnt a lot in this One Campaign task like discovering that 1.5 million children die of hunger. She adds that even tho’ she may not contribute anything monetarily, she will talk about the one campaign initiative to others.
When asked about whom she thinks is most creative in terms of the T/shirt designs, she points out herself describing the message behind her design which is the One dollar and also the map of Africa. She also talks of Keagan as the only other housemate who has a better design and message besides hers.
Speaking of Wati‘s ban/punishment; she says that since they are all a family in the house, Wati’s ban resulting in the whole house getting punished is fine with her.
In tonight’s presentation, she promises Biggie to expect the best as they present their speeches. She talks of how she’s going to talk about using the social networks to spread the activities of the One campaign.
As she winds up, she talks of Talia revealing to her that she got an evil eye which makes Talia afraid of her. She argues that if she’s having a bad day, she of course can’t put on a smiling face. She also points out Goldie who also commented about her eyes besides Talia.
She ends her session campaigning for herself and asks for votes from Africa.

Keagan Diary Session

Since they are cooking for the less fortunate, he says that altho’ he doesn’t know how much time they got left basing on all the foodstuffs available, the cooking is coming along well.
He also talks of besides cooking food, they are planning to raise money for the homeless as well. He adds that they want to put smiles on the homeless’ faces so that they may know that they are doing something.
When asked about what he’s gained in this week’s one campaign task, he says that one doesn’t have to be rich to help pple but the campaign has to start with a few pple so as to help the less fortunate. He also talks of seeing very many pple who lack basic needs and would love to help as much as possible.
when asked “What’s the one thing you would take away in order to replace it with another for the betterment of the less fortunate?”; He talks of taking away the poverty and then replace it with kindness in pple’s hearts.
He argues that if pple stand and stick together which can only be achieved with kindness, then a lot can be achieved and its the reason why these initiatives are called foundations.
About Wati’s ban disobedience; he talks of having decided to sympathize with Wati as he doubted Wati’s continuous survival in the house without alcohol. Its the reason he gave him some alcohol bcoz of his kindness of heart. He asks Biggie to punish him if he wants as long as he has done something good for someone.

News: Nameless Drops In!

With the ONE Campaign Tasks at hand, housemates have had a chance to interact with many celebrities from across Africa and the world.
Well, a few hours ago, Kenyan artiste Nameless dropped in on the housemates via a video played by Biggie.
Nameless implored housemates to ‘Say No To Hunger’ and motivated them to take care of their Thrive Garden. The Kenyan singer also told the StarGamers to make a change in Africa as regards food security.
Hmmm… This week’s tasks has indeed brought housemates closer to numerous celebrities.
Meanwhile, housemates have been given another task. They are required to prepare food for 25 people, this food will be given to the underprivileged by 2Face Idibia.
News: Thrive Garden Looking Great

Posted on Jul 26, 2012

Following this week’s tasks that included housemates coming up with a Thrive Garden to grow vegetables on Tuesday, it seems the housemates’ sweat and hard work didn’t go down the drain.

Three days later, the garden looks healthy and in a good condition, the vegetables are almost ready thanks to the daily watering and being taken care of by the housemates.

It’s primary intentions are to to provide a platform for housemates and Africa as a whole to be able to grow their own food in order to fight poverty.

All the housemates have been playing a part in it’s welfare to date. This is good news for the housemates since the Task Presentations are on later in the evening.

Should we say that housemates are on course to win their 100% Wager? We think so!

News: Are These Two Flirting?

Thu, 26 Jul 2012

News: Are These Two Flirting?
Are Talia and Keagan flirting or are we seeing things?

The two were all over each other for a good part of the day and to say they enjoy each other's company would be an understatement since they are literally always together.

Perhaps they hadn't noticed too until tonight but with Talia refusing to give back Keagan's jacket in the way he wanted and she calling him to join her upstairs because "there's something I want to tell you" sounds fishy to us.

Well, earlier in the night Keagan asked the Zambian Housemate to ease up a bit and allow them (he and Wati) in.

"Talia we love you, you know that," Keagan said when Talia insisted on going to bed. All this time, Wati was watching in awe.

News: Take Your Pants Off Talia! - Keagan
Talia and Keagan were playing the "you take your pants off, no you take your pants off" game in the Jacuzzi at night.

After Keagan accused Talia of not opening up fully towards him, Talia tried hard to defend herself but Keagan wouldn't hear any of it.

"I care about you and Wati," Talia redeemed herself without being too committal but Keagan persisted. "Wati and I don't watch our backs like you do. You have this gap between us and you won't let us pass that gap," Keagan tried explaining.

Hey Keagan, what do you want to say exactly? Well, the South African Housemate begged the Zambian lass to please just "chill the f*** up" and challenged her to take her pants off to prove that she actually was chilled.

Nice try Keagan, it looks like Talia will not do that unless you take your pants off.

Take it Off!

News: Did Wati Break His Alcohol Ban?

Thur, 26 Jul 2012

News: Did Wati Break His Alcohol Ban?
Could Wati be on the other side of the law again for infringement of his alcohol ban?

Wati was banned from taking alcohol throughout the duration of StarGame due to his insolent behaviour when intoxicated. However, tonight Big Brother smelt something fishy; Wati was drinking non-stop from a cup and the contents were suspicious.

Without wasting much time, Biggie summoned the Head of House for questioning in the Diary Room. Without selling anything away, Wati told Keagan and Talia about his late Diary session and mentioned that it had to do with alcohol.

The worried looking Malawian Housemate acted as though things hadn't gone too well in that session.

Keagan was appalled that Wati was not acting up like his usual drinking self so perhaps he was having something soft in that mysterious cup.

Is There Trouble Here?

News: Lola Fierce in Her Own World

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

News: Lola Fierce in Her Own World
Jannette aka Lola Fierce has a way of cracking herself up, no matter how much everyone ignores her.

It seems as though the moment Lola Fierce emerges, Keagan needs to run for dear life and never come back because he's all Ms. Lola wants to have.

When Keagan eventually entertained her, he asked Jannette why she thinks Kyle's brother would vote for her instead of his own brother.

"He'll vote for me of course because I'm a woman, because I have a feminine side, because I have fallopian tubes, because I have a uti uti uti...wait for it..."

As if that was not enough, Keagan was offered a lap dance which turned into an exclusive booty-hopping show courtesy of Ms. Lola herself.

"Tap it, touch it, squeeze it," she ordered the blushing South African lad with her butt in the air.

Tap That Keagan!

News: "Goldie Has Finesse" - Prezzo

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

News:
"Goldie has finesse;" Prezzo defended her during a discussion about female artists in the evening.

The question Prezzo had posed to Wati and Talia was "Why do chicks like saying their names and then 'baby' afterwards."

Just as they were counting some of the artists; like "Eazy Baby" "Lady May baby", Talia said "Goldie baby" and Prezzo simply cut her down to size.

Mhmmm it looks like Prezzo still has the hots for the Nigerian songbird. Could he be in love with her or did he just get accustomed to defending her? Watch the Video Below.

News: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
The Big Brother chikitas came out to play today like little kindergarten girls, jumping on the beds.

What started off as Jannette and Lady May's dancing session in the bedroom turned out to a ball of excitement and Talia wouldn't be left out of the fun.

Hopping from bed to bed and occassionally falling off, the girls couldn't stop giggling as they imagined what the guys would think of them.

Meanwhile, the guys were clueless of what was happening upstairs and that was just the way the chikitas wanted it to be.

News: ONE Campaign Celebs Drop In

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

News: ONE Campaign Celebs Drop In
American actor Michael Ealy was the fourth international celebrity to drop in on the Big Brother Housemates much to the delight of the girls.

As soon as the ‘Think Like A Man’ actor got Jannette and Talia hot and bothered and let out a little shriek in excitement. The movie star was the third celebrity to drop in on the Housemates via satellite link to educate and motivate the StarGame on the ONE campaign that is their Task this week. “Stay strong, stay committed and stay hungry for change,” said the American heartthrob.

The other two international celebs to give special messages to the StarGamers were Freshly Ground’s Zolani Mahola earlier today and Irish rocker Bono yesterday. The Housemates also got a surprise visit from Nigerian musician 2face Idibia.

Michael Ealy was followed up by Tony Okungbowa the DJ, English actor, film producer, most popular as the resident DJ for in the American television show ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘ who also beamed on screen via satellite link. The English DJ also had his own words of encouragement for the Upvillers telling them, “Thank you for being the voice for change.” Stay hungry for change

Diary Room: My Ideal Africa

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

Diary Room: My Ideal Africa
If you had could be granted one wish that would turn Africa into the kind of place that you want it to be, what would you wish for it to be?

These was the underlying question that Housemates had to answer during their diary session as Biggie queried them one by one on what is their idea of an ideal Africa. “My ideal Africa is one where we can use the raw materials that we have to create something and we don’t have to export raw material that is manufactured elsewhere and they make a bigger profit from our resources,” shared Talia.

The Zambian made it quite clear that for her, the greatest change that she would like to see is for continent to become more self-sustainable and less dependent on foreign aid.

Another Housemate that shared their views of what is an ideal Africa was Keagan. For the South African the most important battle for Africans in the fight for change is to try and eradicate global hunger and poverty, “One thing that I would like to do is what the ONE campaign is doing because you need food to think properly.” He then added, “If you are at school and you have nothing to eat you can’t concentrate properly and eventually that can decrease your determination.”

I want us to be self sustainable

Diary Room: Prezzo On Lady May’s Case Again

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

Diary Room: Prezzo On Lady May’s Case Again
Either Prezzo really really does not like Lady May or he is completely intimidated by her as there never seems to be a diary session that can come to an end without the rapper gossiping to Big Brother about the Namibian.

This afternoon the rapper stayed true to form and harped on once again about the songstress during his heart to heart with Biggie. According to Prezzo she in nothing but a phoney and is stuck up and that is the reason that she isolates herself from the rest of the Housemates. “She is not any better than any of us,” he insisted. The Upville lad claimed that even her accent is fake and made an example of their One Billion Reasons To Believe In Africa Task presentation last week.

After the gossip session the topic than changed to this week’s ONE campaign Task. The Kenyan came up with the slogan 'Swagger Farmer' to make farming more appealing to youth.

Task: Compost Bin Construction

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

Task: Compost Bin Construction
For the first Task of today the Housemates must create a self-sustaining compost bin.

As part of this week’s ONE campaign Task today will see the Housemates learning more about composting. The StarGamers were provided with all of the tools and materials necessary to manufacture a compost bin. Throughout their Task, for each step that they take they will have to explain to Big Brother what it is that they are doing. For the duration of their stay in the House the StarGamers will have to make use of the compost bin for recycling all of their natural waste and to grow vegetation in their Thrive Garden.

Hopefully by the end of today the Housemates will have mastered the art of composting as their 100% Wager depends on it.

Time for Workout

After an eventful night that saw housemates drinking like fish, life had to continue this morning though there were a few absentees during the workout session.
Lady May and Prezzo as usual took part in the workout and since they did not take part in the hard boozing yesterday, they were in the right mind frames for the exercises. Jannette didn’t take part as she stayed in slumber. The little princess had a little too much to drink yesterday, she even vomited all over the floor in the bedroom as a result of too much shots she took.
The little princess also stripped down to nothing but a bra and a g-string which caused some tension among the boys in the Jacuzzi as she joined them. Keagan was dumbfounded at the sight of the petite StarGamer.

Her behaviour even caused a face between Talia and Kyle who accused him of not taking care of his former Downville partner. Talia questioned Kyle for his reluctance to take care of the princess but Kyle said that he had talked to her a couple of times but she simply blushed him off thus the reluctance but promised not to give up on Jannette.
Meanwhile, housemates will continued with their ONE Campaign Task today. They had a surprise from Biggie yesterday as 2Face Idibia dropped in amid excitement from housemates. We just can’t wait for any surprises Biggie may have for the housemates today.

News: Intoxicated Jannette Shows Up Her Butt!

Do you know the level of craziness Jannette can reach while intoxicated? Well if you don’t, get to know now.
After downing just two shots of booze Jannette couldn’t control herself and therefore  went wild as she had promised earlier. The Ugandan lass  collected all her strange  and weird characters back into the House.
From the House where the Housemates had taken the booze from, they decided to go to the Jacuzzi where they had to spend the rest of the night. Little princess joined the crew.
Jannette stumbled out of the Jacuzzi, where she and the rest of the Housemates (excludingPrezzo and Lady May) were. She had spent some few minutes in the bedroom from where she rolled out of bed and shortly went to the Jacuzzi.
With her fellow Housemates watching, Jannette stripped down her knickers and showed her   butt! This was a crazy act but of course expected out of any drunkard  person.
This week Biggie decided to rationalise alcohol in the House following the Housemates failure to control their behaviours but its the little of it that disorganises Jannette. So what will he do to control this?

News: Would You Marry Me,Wati?

As she promised in her Diary Room Session that she will take alcohol to turn into a person who worries not about Nomination, Uganda’s Cute Jannette fulfilled it.
The Ugandan lass was busy in the evening sipping  one shot after the other so as to accomplish her mission. How many shots disorganise her? Of course two,  and after that we saw a wild Jannette doing so many crazy things.
Jannette went down on her knees and asked Wati if he would marry her. Wati too did nor hesitate as he boldly accepted the proposal, “Of course I would.” Jannette.
The little princess who is also known for her insecurities used to behave in the  same way some time back and time came when she had to quit it but now as worry is back , it came along with the habit.
Will this help her or it will just worsen the situation?

News: Kyle And Keagan Get a Funny Quarrel

The whole day  Housemates have been hard at work on the t-shirts they are supposed to paint for charity as part of their weekly task.
As the evening wound down  and the Housemates started getting exhausted, Keagan and Kyle playfully turned the heat up just a notch with some verbal banter that seemed to excite their fellow Housemates.
The two lads  flexed their skills in the living room and went at each other as the rest were listening.Talia, Jannette and Wati of course, were on hand to give running commentary as the  entertainers proceeded.
As time went on, things  looked threatening as if they were  to take a more dangerous level, the two girls  were on hand to douse the fire. “Oh God! It looks like it’s starting to get personal,” they said, encouraging the boys to keep things friendly and entertaining.
Talia was even playfully notin that the pressure is getting to everyone.

News: Talia’s Transformation, Yay or Nay?

Mon, 23 Jul 2012

News: Talia’s Transformation, Yay or Nay?
This evening the boys of Upville accused Talia of looking like a prisoner. Ouch!

At the time the Zambian lass was rocking a gangster look, she donned a beanie and a wife beater vest and she chose to forgo her make up but the biggest change in her appearance was her weave-less head.

Yesterday as each of the Nominees got themselves brand new hairdos courtesy of the Organics Root Stimulator ‘Incredible Hair Care Crew’, the Zambian also decided to giver herself a makeover or should we rather say a make-under. The StarGamer carefully removed the hairpiece that she has been rocking since she was upgraded to Upville three weeks ago and unveiled a new au natural afro look.

Have a look at the video of the new Talia below and tell us what do you think of her transformation.

Save & Replace: Wati Saves Himself For Kyle

Mon, 23 Jul 2012

Save & Replace: Wati Saves Himself For Kyle
An eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth, it looks like this is what Wati was thinking tonight.

This evening the Malawian made use of his ‘Save And Replace’ power to save himself from the gallows of Eviction and instead placed Kyle’s head firmly under the guillotine. We wonder if the Upville lad’s decision had anything to do with Keitta’s Eviction. The Ghanaian was sent straight to Homeville last night along with Alex, just a few moments after Keitta found out that Kyle had put him up for Eviction.

During their tenure in StarGame Keitta and Wati cultivated a close friendship along with Keagan. Prezzo even dubbed the trio The Three Musketeers. What do you think, did Wati Nominate Kyle as payback for his friend?

The Nominees are Kyle, Jannette, Lady May and Prezzo, CLICK HERE to vote to keep your favourite Housemate in the game.

News: Last Two Downville Girls Standing

Mon, 23 Jul 2012

News: Last Two Downville Girls Standing
Most of the time the female species are accused of being the cattier of the two sexes but today Jannette and Talia dispelled this myth.

The former Downville girls had an emotional heart to heart early this evening. As they sat in the bedroom the Ugandan and Zambian both voiced out about all of the grievances that they had with each other in an effort to clear the air. Over the past week or so there has been a little bit of tension between the two friends and so today the girls did their best to put all of that behind them.

“We are the last two Downville girls standing out of sixteen,” the two happily declared. At this realisation the duo then decided that it would be best to try and sort out any issues that the either might have against the other in order to rebuild the trust between. “I want to be able to trust without any reservations that you have my back,” Talia told her gal pal. “Me too,” Jannette retorted.

News: “I Have A Good Character”

Mon, 23 Jul 2012

News: “I Have A Good Character”
“I have a good character,” Prezzo declared during his diary session earlier on today.

They may say vanity is one of the seven deadly sins but this clearly is not something that the Upville lad concerns himself about as it has become apparent that he is definitely not a man that is afraid of being accused of tooting his own horn. Today the rapper spent a good deal of his session singing his own praises. According to Prezzo while some of the other Housemates have been phony he has been nothing but real since day one, “I have just been the same person day in day out,” he said of himself to Biggie.

To close off the topic the Kenyan described himself as someone who always stays true to who he is. After the lengthy period of self-importance he then gossiped about Lady May. He dished to Big Brother about a time that he had apparently caught the Namibian talking to herself. Apparently when she realised that someone was at the door she then tried to cover up by acting like she was singing.

Well we must admit it is easy to believe Prezzo about Lady May speaking to herself, that lass has always come across as someone that is just a feathers short of cuckoo. But what about the rapper’s claims that he has never been phony in his tenure in StarGame, do you agree with him?

Diary Room: "Pots Will Fly" - Lady May

Mon, 23 Jul 2012

Diary Room:
Lady May has promised pots will fly if any of the Housemates step to her.

During her Diary Session this afternoon, Lady May expressed her concerns that alcohol would be making its way into the house. Last week, the Housemates were barred from drinking any alcohol. It is during this time that the Namibian eavesdropped on a gossip session the Housemates were having about her.

Today, the alcohol ban has been lifted and Lady May feels some of her fellow Housemates will try their best to annoy her. "I'm really nervous because alcohol is coming in today. I pray no one tries to annoy me. I am preparing myself for the worst. I hope pots don't fly. I'm ready for anything,” Lady May said.

According to Lady May, Keitta was the main instigator of the hurtful gossip session and now that he is gone, Wati is heading up a 'Hate On Lady May Campaign'. "It is clear that they all hate me and I cannot be friends with these people. What they were saying is tantamount to defamation of character. It's funny that they are all backstabbing each other and I have remained neutral throughout," she said.

Diary Room: Kyle Cries!

Mon, 23 Jul 2012

Diary Room: Kyle Cries!
Kyle broke down into a heap of tears during his Diary Session.

Being Head of House is certainly no joke. Despite Wati being Head of House this week, Kyle is still dealing with the open scars from his tenure at the helm. The Ugandan Housemate is still beating himself up after his friend Keitta was Evicted last night, following his (Kyle's) decision to put him on the chopping block.

According to Kyle, he thought Keitta had a lot more fans. "I thought he would survive. I put him up because I thought he was strong. I feel terrible when I reflect on my decision. He looked so disappointed in me," Kyle said, fighting back tears. It all became too much for Kyle and he eventually broke down and cried. He asked for a moment to compose himself and clutched his head in his hands.

Diary Room: Talia Sings Wati's Praises

Diary Room: Talia Sings Wati's Praises
Talia is unaware that her friend Wati put her on the chopping block.

Zambia's Talia waxed lyrical about Wati and how much he has her back. The temptress does not know Wati put her up for possible Eviction. Talia is lucky because only Wati Nominated her. If she is not in the Nominations list tonight, there is a high probability that Wati will put her up when he makes the dreaded Head of House 'Save and Replace' tonight.

In her Diary Session, Talia could not stop singing her friend's praises. "Wait P has my back. He will be a great Head of House this week, especially now that alcohol is not a factor," she gushed.

It will be really interesting to see whether Wati will Save himself and put Talia up for possible Eviction. The Finale is so close we can smell it.

Now that friends are Nominating each other, things have certainly become more interesting!

News: Congrats Jannette and Kyle!

News: Congrats Jannette and Kyle!
Jannette and Kyle are the last remaining StarGame pair.

Uganda's Jannette and Kyle have survived the chop a countless number of times and are still in the game. This is an incredible feat, considering that many of their fellow Housemates have fallen by the wayside.

The two started the game off in Downville with their fellow pairs and were eventually upgraded to Upville when the Houses merged. Kyle in particular has survived possible Eviction on two occasions, while Jannette has evaded the dreaded Nomination and Eviction chop, since she moved to Upville.

We'd like to take a moment to congratulate the two for standing, against all odds.

Diary Room: Shaking Like a Leaf

Diary Room: Shaking Like a Leaf
It obviously hasn't clicked to Wati that if he survives tonight's Eviction, he will be in the finals.

During his Nominations Diary session, Wati told Biggie that should he survive tonight's dagger he will know that he has lots of fans and will definitely not change his game.

As Head of House for next week, Wati said he will not expect his fellow Housemates to have any hard feelings towards him when he reveals who he decided to put up for possible Eviction next Sunday. "They must understand that it's just a game,' Wati said.

Meanwhile, Prezzo started his session with Biggie in song; "Biggie Biggie Biggie can't you see sometimes these Nominations just hypnotize me." The Masai warrior, as he refers to himself, didn't beat about the bush in relating how tough being nominated is. "It's getting to me now," he confessed.

He added that he hopes and prays that Africa had his back. One of his fondest memories in the House will have to be sitting in the garden with evicted Nigerian VIP Goldie, his argument with South Africa's Barbz, amongst others which only involved the original Upvillers.

As for serial Nominee Lady May, no amount of being nominated has hardened her to this situation. "Every day is a different day, I would love to survive today," Lady May said. She told Biggie that being saved by Africa so many times didn't guarantee her immunity for tonight.

Lady May said she had adopted a policy of not thinking too much about her fate when it comes to the Evicti

News: Getting In On The Action
After all of the Nominees got themselves glam new hairdos courtesy of the Organics Root Stimulator ‘Incredible Hair Crew’ the non-nominated refused to be left behind and they too got private primping.

First in line was the Head of House Kyle who had the resident StarGame barber Keagan working his magic hands on is mane. The South African who is a fan of crazy hairstyles gave his StarGame buddy a hair trim with intricate detailing. Interestingly Kyle happens to be the reason that Keagan is guaranteed another week inside of the Big Brother House as the Ugandan saved the South African from the Eviction Chop and replaced him with Keitta. Keagan still has no idea for now as he believes that Kyle saved Alex.

As for Keitta his StarGame intuition has been right on the money as the Ghanaian has expressed more than once that he has a gut feeling that Kyle has put him up for possible Eviction. The self-loving male model spent the better portion of his Sunday afternoon getting his Afro dreadlocked by Talia.

Speaking of Talia, the Zambian also gave herself a whole new look. The StarGame cutie took out her long flowing weave and rocked her natural afro. Little Jannette was the only one who didn’t get in on the action.

Clearly she is now giving her mane a rest after finally shedding the infamous Goldie wig that she donned for a few days after the Nigerian singer's departure.

Catch Up: What A Crazy Week!

Catch Up: What A Crazy Week!
Did you not get your daily fix of Big Brother Africa this week? No worries, here we bring to you all the juicy tidbits that will quench your StarGame thirst.

This week got off to a turbulent start when the Eviction guillotine aimed straight for Goldie’s head. Donned in one of her usual OTT (over the top) glam outfits the Nigerian Starmate bid an emotional farewell to StarGame. Her exit brought with it a dramatic ending to StarGame’s most tumultuous couple, PreGo, as right before her departure Goldie and her estranged beau Prezzo had a stormy lovers tiff.

At first it seemed that the Kenyan was relieved to finally be a free man but after a few days the loneliness started to get the best of him and he then dropped a bombshell on Talia when he revealed to the Zambian that he was planning on asking Big Brother for a voluntary exit. Luckily the Upville lass was able to persuade him to stay in the game.

But for how long will he remain in the House that remains to be seen as the rapper and Lady May garnered the highest number of Nominations from their fellow Housemates, which put them on the Eviction chopping block for the third consecutive week. This led to the Namibian confessing to Biggie that she has a feeling her fellow Housemate don't like her much. Her suspicions were confirmed when she caught her Housemates gossiping about her on two separate occasions.

With Goldie gone, Kyle was appointed the Head of House, which lead to a surprising turn of things when the Ugandan used his ‘Save and Replace’ power to save Keagan and replaced him with just the night before Keitta, this despite the fact that Keagan revealed that he had put him up for Eviction.

The Housemates got a much needed distraction from all of the drama in the House when Zimbabwe’s DJ Kool Moe Dee hit the ones and twos at their carnival themed party. Even with a lack of alcohol in the House the Upvillers had a visibly great time.

For the Task this week the Housemates caught a bit of the Olympic fever that is sweeping the rest of the world as they enjoyed a variety of Coca-Cola Games including boat racing, table tennis, Coca-Cola tower building and tug of war. The StarGamer’s once again managed to bag another 100% Wager victory in this week’s Task.

Well there you have all the dirt on the StarGamer's. What was your favourite moment this week?

News: A Hairy Sunday
On this beautiful sunny afternoon Sunday the Nominees spent the day getting primped for this tonight’s Evictions.

The Organics Root Stimulator ‘Incredible Hair Crew’ marched onto the garden bright and early today to set up their make shift salon. Lady May was first on the scene and soon after one by one the rest of the Nominees trickled in for their turn to have the stylists work their magic on them. Kyle and Talia also joined the Nominees for moral support. As she watched Nominees getting their hair done, the Zambian dame confessed to Wati, “I am jealous of your hair it is so thick and dark.” The Malawian got his Afro braided while the rest of the lads got a hair trim and including Keagan who does not yet know that he is no longer on the Nomination list got a daring mohawk with SA etched on the side of his head. Lady May settled for her usual pinkish-reddish weave.

As the saying goes when you look good, you feel good and these crop of StarGamers certainly need all the help that they can get to brighten up their moods as they prepare to face an emotional night where they will bid farewell to one of their own.

News: Party Aftermath

News: Party Aftermath
After a night of hard partying last night most of the Housemates chose to spend a large portion of this sunny Sunday morning curled up in bed in an attempt to recharge their systems.

Rest and relaxation is certainly much needed by these Stargamers as tonight is the night of the dreaded Eviction chop where Africa will bid farewell to at least one StarGamer by the end of the evening.

The pressure of being faced with the prospect of getting booted out of the House at this stage of the game, when the end is so near, is surely too much for anyone to take one but alas this is the dilemma that this week's Nominees are faced with. Even for the Housemates that are not on the chopping block tonight will be a bittersweet night indeed because on the one hand they are grateful to still be in the running for the USD 300 000 but on the flipside of the coin it is heart wrenching to have to say goodbye to another good friend that you have shared so much with over the past 11 weeks.

As Keitta put it a few nights ago, ‘Tonight’s Evictions are going to be one of the most emotional.” We certainly couldn’t agree with you more Keitta. Later on tonight Kyle will be dropping a bombshell on Keitta when he reveals that he placed the Ghanaian on the Eviction guillotine in order to save Keagan. We wonder how the StarGame lad will take the news he certainly did not take it too well last time he was used as an Eviction scapegoat by Goldie who put the male model up for Eviction in order to save her then boyfriend Prezzo.

Jannette : The Massage Expert.

As other Housemates were still enjoying their beds in the wee   Hour of the morning, the  little princess busied herself with the massage job in the bedroom doing it to Keitta and Keagan.
Last week she did it to Keitta and this time she saw it very wise to add on another “K” (Keagn) to her ride. She got her soft hands and feet  and made them busy while ridding on the lads.
The two gents  slept in the beds next to each other as the Ugandan dame got to work her magic on them. First the petite lass hopped on top of Keitta and walked up and down all over his back.
She then went and  jumped on to Keagan’s bed and did the same for the South African but his footsy massage  did not last for long  because  the  Ugandan lass quickly  turned her attentions back onto the Ghanaian…..Hmm does this mean that it is Keitta who holds a bigger place in Jannette‘s life?
Jannette gave Keitta a long and sensual touch which looked loved by the Ghanain model. Its of no secret that these two are becoming so close as are repeatedly seen together.

News: They've Eaten Frogs, Ants & Crocodile
The animals these guys have eaten are chilling to say the least.

From flying ants to crocodile and frogs, the guys have had them all. Prezzo couldn't believe his ears when the guys talked about the different meats they have eaten in their lives.

"I think crocodile is nice," Kyle said. Wati quickly confirmed before taking the guys through the different species of flying ants and which ones taste better than the other.

News: Jannette is Done With Love & School
There are two things Jannette is sure of; she'll never fall in love or go back to school.

Confiding first in Alex then Keagan in the afternoon, the Ugandan Housemate said she'd rather be mean and angry than giver heart away. As she has continually said that she was in a bad relationship that weighed on her self-esteem, it looks like she has made up her mind.

She said she was now more focused on building her music career. Keagan suggested that she considers furthering her studies but Jannette would not hear of that either. "I don't want to go back to school. Maybe I'm hard headed," Jannette said.

"Put your hard headedness into your confidence," Keagan suggested but Jannette insisted that she would work on being successful and that was what's on her mind right now.

News: Prezzo Sings Goldie's Song

News: Prezzo Sings Goldie's Song
Though Prezzo initially ignored Goldie's song, he couldn't resist singing along to "Say My Name".

While playing cards with Keitta, Prezzo sang along to his sweetheart's music. "Imagine if she just walks in," Keitta asked Prezzo but he ignored him and continued singing and shuffling the playing cards.

He seemed to be in deep thought as the song progressed and just joined in on the chorus. It was quite a moment especially because it was after the guys spoke about the finale.

"What if after announcing the winner, Biggie brings us back into the House," Prezzo had asked his Housemates. "I'd go mad" Wati said without hesitation. Could the president be missing his 24 carat queen?

News: Boys Gossip About Lady May’s Nomination Record

Lady May‘s nomination record has caught some housemates’ attention especially the boys as the phenomenon became their centre of discussion early in the day.
Prezzo, Wati and Keitta had a heart to heart about the Namibian’s narrow escapes. “She’s always nominated,” Wati said. Prezzo told them that he has also been nominated a couple of times but Wati said that Lady May’s nominations were far many.
Prezzo also told the boys that the first time the Namibian was nominated came as a surprise to her because she never saw it coming.
The boys also discussed the circumstances under which Lady May is always nominated which they found interesting. They continued joking about her nominations and couldn’t stop making fun out of them amid wild laughters.
Meanwhile, the nominated housemates will get to know about their fate in the StarGame tomorrow during the eviction show. Who do you think is headed Homeville?

News: How Was Sleeping In My Bed?

StarGame friends Jannette and Keitta shared a bed last night and the gentleman had the pleasure to ask the petite star how her night was: “How was sleeping in my bed?”
The soft spoken Ugandan lass asserted: “It was ok.” She also added that she dreamt though she did not elaborate on the dream.
Meanwhile, it seems during her slumber, Jannette scratched Keitta because his healing wound on the arm had reopened but of course she had no idea about it.
However, Wati joked that it could have been a love bite for Keitta amid giggles.
But hey, do not speculate what could have happened, these two had different blankets, so no need to worry.

Jannette or “Lolafiyas”??? Whom Do You Like?

We all know Jannette, don’t we? Well, even though we know the petite Ugandan, her alter-ego called “Lolafiyas” may not be very familiar to many of her fans out their. This art piece is seeking to uncover the mystery that exists between the two individuals sharing one body.
Jannette is the Ugandan female housemate when sober or not tipsy while “Lolafiyas” takes over her body when intoxicated or tipsy.
Jannette is less confident, lacks self esteem, seeks attention, hates her stature and has all these insecurities surrounding her. She was once overheard revealing to some of her fellow housemates the fact that she wants to go for breast implants as soon as she gets out of the house. This is a clear indication of someone who is suffering from extreme insecurity.
Back in downville, she attempted to sleep underneath her bed and she’s also been heard talking about the fact that she doesn’t like her petite look and all. She does all this when her insecurities resurrect. The sour relationship between Jannette and her Mama could worsened the state of her self confidence. I hope her Big Brother house experience will reunite her to her Mama once again.
However, she manages to suppress her insecurities with the might of the bottle. There’s a way she finally gets energized after guzzling a few units of liquor as she enters the “Lolafiyas” phase. She suddenly breaks loose, gets loud and becomes confident in self. No wonder she craves the presence of alcohol in the house.
Contrary to other alter-egos in the Big Brother house like “steve” or “psychosteve”, “Lolafiyas” isn’t physical even though departed fellow housemate from Namibia, Junia claimed that “Lolafiyas” attempted to throw a bottle at her while she was enjoying a good time with her boo Malonza, another departed Kenyan housemate.
Back to the question, between Jannette and “Lolafiyas” whom do you like?

News: Upville vs Lady May
Upville vs Lady May
It is no secret that the Housemates of Upville are not very fond of Lady May. For three consecutive weeks they have put the songstress on the Eviction chopping block. The Namibian even confided in Biggie a few days ago that she believes that her fellow StarGamers do not like her.

While before her believe that there is animosity between her and her fellow Housemates was merely a hunch, this evening the Starmate got to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. The rest of the Housemates were all in the bedroom when Keitta and Prezzo started pouring their hearts out about their discontent with the eccentric entertainer. “She is stiff. Even Goldie with all of her acting had more flexibility than her,” critiqued the Ghanaian while Prezzo seconded his sentiments and added: “Shorty is crazy.” The Ghanaian model continued his rant about the Namibian as the rest of the StarGamers listened on intently while nodding their head occasionally in agreement.

Little did they all know that while they were dissing her, the celebrity Housemate was actually standing just outside of the bedroom listening in on the conversation. She chuckled to herself and shook her head in disbelief as she took in an earful of insults. Afterwards she headed outside to sleep in the garden and she seemed to still be in shock as she continued to chuckle in the dead of the night all by herself.

News: StarGame Pranksters
What is it about the combination of Keagan and Keitta together that just brings out the inner child in them?

If the Housemates got fines for disturbing the peace then these two rowdy lads would be facing some hefty penalties indeed. Late into the night two of StarGame’s three musketeers went around the House interrupting their fellow StarGamers from their peaceful rest.

They first intruded on Jannette and Prezzo’s heart to heart session and they then woke up both Lady May and Alex who were sound asleep. In each room they barged in on the Housemates as if there was something urgent happening, they pretended to be in a frenzy muttering inaudible phrases at them while rushing them out of bed.

So what exactly was the point of all of this hullaballoo? Nothing more than good laugh for the boys at their fellow Housemate’s expense.

Naughty, naughty

Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the sexiest of them all? This evening the Housemates decided to get a little rest and relaxation at their favourite chill spot - the Big Brother Africa Jacuzzi.

Of course Jacuzzi time means only one thing – bikini time. The StarGamers all shed off their clothes to reveal their hot bodies in their many shapes and forms.

Short or tall, dark or light, athletic, petite or curvy StarGame has it all. So no matter what your taste you are bound to find at least one Housemate that tickles your fancy.

Kyle, Jannette, Talia, Prezzo, Lady May, Keitta, Keagan, Alex or Wati, tell us out of all the remaining Housemates who do you think has the sexiest body?

News: Keagan’s Annoying Drinking Habits
Have you ever found yourself on a chilly winter’s night sitting down on the couch to enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate or coffee when all of a sudden there is a loud slurping sound resonates from the person sitting next to you? This was the predicament that the Upvillers found themselves in this evening.

The Housemates gathered in the living room today to try and warm up after spending a little time in the soaking in the lukewarm jaccuzi. The guys and girls were all enjoying some hot chocolate when all of a sudden Keagan starting obnoxiously slurping on his beverage. If looks could kill then the StarGamer’s icy stares would have pierced right through the South African. “My ears are bleeding,” Wati complained. But it was clear that Kyle was the most annoyed out of them all, “Do you think that is funny?” he snipped sarcastically.

Unfortunately for them their protestations fell on deaf ears as Keagan continued on with his annoying habits and seemed to enjoying just how much he was getting on everyone’s nerves. Seriously some people should come with a mute button for moments like these.

News: No More Three Musketeers?

Fri, 20 Jul 2012

News: No More Three Musketeers?
The dreaded Eviction chop is now only two days away and for some of the Nominees it is clear that is all that is on their mind lately.

This evening Wati, Keagan and Keitta, or the three musketeers as Prezzo likes to call them, were gathered in the garden when the subject of Eviction came about. From their conversation it is evident that all of them are trembling in their boots at the thought of getting axed from StarGame at this stage of the game.

“I am going home,” proclaimed Wati but Keagan quickly encouraged his friend to have faith and that it is ultimately in the hands of Africa and it is anybody’s guess who will eventually be sent home this Sunday. The South African added, “It could be me that is going home”. But little does he know that his Head of House, Kyle, ensured him another week in the House when he removed him from the list of Nominees and replaced him with Keitta. Which is great news for the South African but quite unfortunate for the Ghanaian.

This means that there are still two of the three close friends that are up for possible Eviction this Sunday and one of them could be the one that is sent to Homeville. Could this Sunday be the end of StarGame’s mischievous three musketeers?
