Task: The Rouge Winners

Like a well-oiled machine the Red team cruised straight to victory in the Shoprite Cook Off.

With a 100% Wager hanging in the balance the Housemates gave their all in their presentation and in the end their hard work paid off. After the Blue team turn got their turn, chef Thandi then returned to the garden to evaluate the Red Team.

Never was there a moment when the chef was not attended to and their impeccable service did not go unnoticed, the team got the thumbs up from the Big Brother’s guest chef, chef Thandi, “Their presentation and hospitality was perfect,” she praised. It was Keagan who took on the role of maitre d' at The Rouge garden restaurant.

First they served up an appetiser dubbed African infusion, this was an interesting looking stuffed cabbage dish. They followed up with not one but two main dishes. The first was a Lamb curry inspired by Lady May’s Namibian heritage and the second was a Brazilian inspired lamb roast. “She loves it I can tell,” Goldie whispered to her teammates enthusiastically. Next it was time for a decadent dessert that included chocolate dipped in coconut paired with a ginger and pineapple juice cocktail with strawberry syrup. As Big Brother announced the results for this challenge the Red team jumped for joy, relieved that their efforts did not go unnoticed.

Well done to both teams for winning their 100% Wager.
