‘I wish I had met Roki’

It has been an eventful week in the Big Brother Africa StarGame reality television show. Ghanaian DKB and Sierra Leonean Zainab were disqualified from the game after engaging in a physical altercation. By fighting they contravened  house rules which categorically state that any housemate who becomes violent elicits automatic disqualification.
As a result Upvillers will be spared from eviction this week following the duo’s disqualification. Meanwhile Sunday’s eviction show saw the exit of the Batswana contingent of Eve and Edith after they failed to muster enough votes to stay in the house.
Eve had managed seven country votes, which included that of Zimbabwe, to Ghanaian Keitta’s eight resulting in the latter being upgraded to Upville and the former going home. Sunday ended up being a bitter-sweet day for Eve as it also coincided with her birthday.

Speaking to IndependentXtra on Monday, Eve had no hard feelings about her eviction saying she enjoyed the experience.

“I had a lot of fun every day in the house and I wouldn’t have played the game any differently,” the 25-year old marketing graduate said.

Her only regret lay in not getting the opportunity to interact with Upvillers, primarily Zimbabwean musician Roki with whom she is evidently smitten.
“Ever since I heard Roki’s song Chidzoka, it has been the only song in my mind and I wanted to meet this talented guy,” Eve said.

She ventured to say there was some telepathy of some sort between her and Roki which allowed them to “communicate” even though they were apart.
“We sent some vibes to each other,” Eve asserts, even though they never saw each other in the house.

Meanwhile the Maneta and Roki love-hate relationship is not abating any time soon with yet another altercation between the pair this week.

It seems there is never a dull moment between these two and their latest tiff culminated with Maneta exclaiming: “His arrogance, I want to wipe that smirk off his face. I want to cut off his tongue so that he never speaks again.”

Maneta also claimed that the very sound of Roki’s voice makes her want to stab herself to death.

Roki, on the other hand, claimed that the tension between the two was due to Maneta’s jealousy of Eve and  she was envious of his affection for the evicted Botswana.

“She gets mad at anyone who says the name,” he said.

Eazzy talks about launching her own hair collection and denies Keitta’s claims about DKB

Ghanaian singer/rapper and rep to the ongoing Big Brother Stargame, Mildred popularly known as Eazzy may have exited the Big Brother Africa reality TV show having a bad hair day but she has hinted that she may soon turn her love for hair into a business.
Speaking at a press conference in Accra, Eazzy said that some people have suggested following her hair saga in the Big Brother Stargame to launch her own ‘hairdo’. “I actually think it would be a perfect time to think of launching a hairdo. Not Brazilian hair though; more of a weave cap that you can put on when you are having a bad hair day like I did.” SEE VIDEO
The musician received huge condemnation across Africa last Sunday when she refused to participate in the eviction show because she couldn’t get a Brazilian weave that she requested from Big Brother. Thus she refused to come on stage for the final farewell and interviews during the eviction show.  She apologized to Ghanaians for her behavior and hoped that her fans would forgive her.
Eazzy also denied claims by her boyfriend Keitta that she told him to be weary of DKB. Following the disqualification of Ghanaian comedian, DKB for hitting fellow housemate, Zainab, Keitta told the rest of the Upville Housemates that Eazzy warned him to be careful of DKB when he was upgraded to the Upville House.
She also denied having sex with Keitta in the Big Brother House and described the video of their love making session circulating on the internet as ‘making out’. “…it was not pornographic,” she said. She added that she was always careful about nudity and so she even bathed in her lingerie. She shared with the press some of her upcoming tours and activities around her music career; and her faith in her relationship with Keitta who remains in the Big Brother Stargame.

Finally the two unlike poles Prezzo, Roki and Barbz shared a heart to heart session together in the big brother house. The three discussed how unexpectedly they found themselves in the house where they met strange personalities  and how they lost their right to privacy because they had to mingle with others.
While seated out side the garden the three talked about how they have gotten used to luxuries in the big brother house and how hard it will be to live without these luxuries out side the Biggie’s house. They also talked oft the problems  they  have faced in the big brother house and decided to echo their problems in form of a song.
Life of a celebrity is quiet very dynamic indeed, they can twist something very small and make it a very big issue in a blink of  an eye. The South African model wondered how she could  get excited just because of juice. As for the  boys they both agreed that having to go without cigarettes for long periods of time was the hardest part of being in the House.
According to the the Barbz one will not know what happens in the big brother house unless they get in to the house themselves.
They chatted about how they came to appreciate all the little things that you take for granted in everyday life outside of the House. Keitta also joined the trio but the non celeb Housemate had little to say on the matter.

Hitting The High Notes

The ladies of Upville kept themselves entertained in the middle of the night. Barbz, Maneta and Lady May all had a blast singing and dancing the night away looking like they did not have a care in the world. Although it looks like if the trio were a real music group they would be caught in a tug of war over who should be the leader singer. After Barbz jokingly told Prezzo, “I am BeyoncĂ© they are Michelle and Kelly,” the other women protested and shouted: “I am BeyoncĂ©.” Meow, this is what happens when you have one too many big egos under the same roof. The minor bout of cattiness aside, the women spent the rest of the night laughing and having a good time together. With the exception of Namibian songstress Lady May, the women’s vocal abilities were questionable at best but that did not matter as they still managed to enjoyed themselves. It is surprising to see how well the gossip buddies Barbz and Maneta are getting along with Lady May all of a sudden. Whatever the reason may be behind this united front, the ladies should keep it up. Well done ladies on finally taking the high road. Keitta stayed in the bedroom with the girls and enjoyed the impromptu concert. Earlier in the day it was the men’s turn to show off their musical abilities. With no mp3 players allowed into the Big Brother House it looks like Upville have finally decided to take matter into their own hands and provide their own entertainment. Do you like to see Housemates singing and performing in the House or should they just stick to playing the game?

News: Prezzo and Goldie, Gossiping Lovers
Prezzo has now recruited his girl as his new gossiping accomplice. Goldie has up to now isolated herself from any underhanded antics in the House but now it looks like there is no limits to the lengths the singer will go to for her man. For most of the evening the two isolated themselves from the rest of the Housemates preferring to sit outside. During their chit chat all the Housemates were in the firing line to Prezzo’s lethal tongue. The rapper did most of the talking while Goldie giggled like a schoolgirl at every little thing. Talking to his “golden one” the Kenyan accused Keitta of being untrustworthy. “Homeboy is a sell-out,” Prezzo declared. Goldie then asked her man to make examples and Prezzo dished her about his private conversation with Keitta in which he revealed that Maneta and Barbz had gossiped about Prezzo and Goldie’s relationship. According to Prezzo, following the conversation Keitta promised to keep his distance from the girls but failed to do keep to his word. Goldie was visibly hurt by the news of the other VIP ladies gossiping about them. Prezzo warned his girl to not act upon this info and told her not to get emotional or else he would never share any news with her ever again. The rapper also confessed that he just pretends some of the other Housemates and smiles in front of their faces even though he knows deep down inside he dislikes that person. The only person that Prezzo seems to not be pretending in the House is

New Song: DKB slaps Zainab After the scuffle that broke out between DKB and Zainab for the second time and turned out to be violent as DKB slapped Zainab in the face! A song has been realesed and you can find it below, slap me now it goes...

There’s Smoke In Upville

"Where there’s smoke there’s fire," this is a very common saying that dates back to our junior years. Whoever initiated it was definitely spot on as it’s still applicable today because smoke in simple terms means fire, therefore one thing leads to another.
Yesterday’s Downville nominations were a bit coincidental if i must say because the nominees are not the best of friends. Namibia’s Junia and South Africa’s Keagan have of recent had heated brawls, they were on each other throats and Keagan went ahead to pour water at Junia, she did not sit back as she made it a ‘tit for tat’ affair, she also poured water on Keagan’s bed!
Keagan and Junia are not close and you can imagine what would happen if both of them are upgraded to Upville come Sunday. They are both very outspoken people and do not take insults lightly, they either give you a piece of their mind or torment you in anyway they find befitting.
If at all this pair makes it to Upville, they could surely evade the other housemates’ space and guess what? most if not all Upville housemates are laid back, so you can guess the kind of encounters Upville could witness in the near future.
Lady May on the other hand would perhaps welcome a fellow Namibain to the house that is if either Junia or Jesica is Upgraded and not act the way she did with Keitta. At least the Lady will show some hospitality for a fellow Namibian.
Either Junia or Jesica will perhaps try to bring out Lady May’s real character, they would not even allow her to sleep in the cold like she recently did, she would perhaps do away with her privacy strategy and try to mingle with other housemates.
Keagan and Lee could also be united with fellow South African Barbz and perhaps the three could come up with some sort of strategy to go far in the game, that is if they do not by any chance step on other people’s toes which would then work against them.
Junia will surely miss Malonza as the two have become an item lately, but trust Junia, she will not make viewers short of romance, she will maybe make out with another housemate, but do not expect her to get close to either Keagan or Lee.
In short, whoever makes it to Upville on Sunday will definitely add flavour to Upville.
considering some of the above factors, the building is surely going down. It’s now left to be seen how new Upville members will get along with the rest of the housemates in Upville.
Will the Downville nominees take their ‘beef’ to Upville? Well, we wait and see how all the drama will unfold.
Well, all the best for all the nominated housemates. Upville is surely yearning and missing them already!

Lady May Full Of Surprises

Lady May is one person who never runs out of ideas. The Namibain rep decided to unleash another pair of heels, this time around it was not probably her prefered colours, she went for another pair that looked like real little reptiles.
As usual, she unveiled her latest pair during the morning exercise session. This comes after Lady May found out that one of her pink stilettos was missing and when she tried to inquire about it’s whereabouts from fellow housemates no body seemed have any knowledge about it.
However, it’s no secret that Keitta and the other Upvillers decided to pull a prank at Lady May by hiding one of her pink heels. To their surprise, Lady May did not over react as expected, she simply kept calm as their primary intention was to find out how much Lady May could take.
As usual, the never out of surprises Lady went about her exercise session with ease in her new killer heels. She went ahead to have a private exercise session even after their exercise instructor had already gone.
Lady could have woken up on the right side and simply left sleeping dogs to lie but surely she may bring up the issue of her missing heel at some point in time.
What do you think about her latest heels? Are they better than the pink heels?
Yesterday after holding the random nominations Downvillers experienced the tensions of eviction before even reaching it.
At first they seemed strong as if they hadn’t felt anything after the nominations but their faces were against their body reflections as they were only showing fear. From that point, the nominations and evictions became the topic of the day.
All could have been affected but Junia was visibly the most worried among all the other nominees and it looked like it was her time to do the final touches in the house. Keagan and Lee were not bothered of which we don’t know the reason but only keep watching until we see how and where things will end.
Junia seemed to have developed a severe eviction fever so she went around the House during the course of the evening, giving out hugs and shedding tears intermittently.
We have seen many Downvillers going homeville while some are upgraded to Upville. Whose time is it to go homeville and to Upville?
