News: Jacuzzi Made For Downvillers?

In the late night as the original Upvillers, Prezzo , Goldie and Lady May were in their slumber lands, the whole former Downville crew was in the Jacuzzi doing it as they used to do in Downville.
While in the Jacuzzi, the Housemates had memories of Downville and their fellow Housemates with whom they used to enjoy the game. Among all the Housemates missed, the crew couldn’t avoid talking  about Junia and Malonza who added more fun to the Jacuzzi.
It is known that  among all the games that used to unite all the Downvillers together, Jacuzzi was number one and so does still while in Upville. The crew kept awake in the late night while in the  Jcauzzi playing their games.
Ever since the Stargame started, apart from Roki before he was disqualified,we have hardly seen any other  Upviller in the Jacuzzi.
Though Prezzo was so close to Roki, he never joined him in the Jacuzzi and so are the ladies Goldie, Lay May and Barbz before she got evicted . DKB was a fan of showering but at no moment he was spotted in the Jacuzzi neither was Mampi.
To cut the story short, the Upville Jacuzzi only became active after Maneta and Zainab were upgraded to Upville and it has now been fully used after the massive promotion of the Downvillers.
From there we had to ask ourselves ; Are the VIPs too bid and shy to go to the Jacuzzi or it was ,made for the Downvillers?

Maneta causes a splash on Twitter

The 21-year-old – who was thrown off the M-Net TV show last month together with compatriot Roki Josphats following a fight – joined the social network on July 10 using the handle @maneta_m.
If she didn’t already know how unpopular she had become since going on the show, Maneta soon became aware that she wasn’t everyone’s favourite TV character.
In her first tweet, she said she was happy to open the account following what she claimed was “public demand”.
But no sooner had she signed up she started taking abuse from some Zimbabweans – but she gave as much as she got.
“Haters are so funny. The more you hate, the more people talk about me, the more people think about me and I become more famous *mission accomplished*,” she tweeted.
She objected to someone mentioning her mother (‘Dude you can say what you want but don’t say anything about my mum. Let her soul RIP’) and dismissed someone who questioned her claims that she was single as “lame”.
When another poster suggested she was “evil”, Maneta shot back: “You have said quite a lot about me today *maneta on your mind, all day, everyday*. Hate me or love me guess what, I ain’t going nowhere.”
Always one to wear her heart on her sleeve, Maneta told of an encounter with a “hot guy” – except there was a problem.
“Just met a hot guy!!! His wife was also next to him. @ this rate I might just die alone,” she tweeted.
On Wednesday, Maneta met former Zambian housemate Mampi, with whom she had struck a friendship.

No regrets for evicted Junia, Malonza

EVICTED housemates Junia and Malonza say they have no regrets about the way they played their game in the M-Net reality television programme Big Brother Stargame, saying they would do exactly the same if they were to go back in the house.
The two lovebirds told the Weekend Mail on Monday from South Africa that they are both happy with the way they played their game.
Namibian Junia, who had frequently bickered with South African housemate Keagan almost non-stop, said: “I don’t think I would do anything any different, I like the way I played the game and have no regrets whatsoever.”
The 23-year-old receptionist and student, says she does not think she did anything wrong in the house that would have made the choice of eviction by Africa.
Junia was also non-committal about her relationship with Malonza, saying they were both single and good friends. However, the Kenyan said if anything was to come out of their relationship, then that would be good.
“We’re just good friends, that’s all,” said Malonza, the 22-yearold Kenyan student.
And Junia says she believes Zambian housemate Talia has a good chance of going all the way in the US$300, 000 rich competitions.
“I think Talia is playing her game well, I think she has a good chance of going all the way, so far her game has been okay. Even the other Zambian housemates, they were just fine, I don’t know where it went wrong for Mampi and Tamara,” she said.
Mampi was the first Zambian housemates to be evicted from the Big Brother Stargame before Talia’s sister, Tamara, followed suit. Upon their eviction, Mampi said the whole game is about pretence while Tamara said the house is a big illusion, and depending on how one takes it, it can horribly go wrong.
But Junia said there is no need for someone to pretend in the house, and if anything, housemates should just be real.
“I don’t think there is need to pretend, just be yourself,” she said.

Karen: I Need A Man In My Life

Karen, why are you coming on board Naija FM?
First, I thank God for His mercies and before now I have been doing shows and other things but this time around, I want a different thing entirely.

How did you get the job?
Na God now. When something is meant for you, no matter what, you will get on board. I think this job was meant for me and I got it because I have been working on a reality show modelling, acting and doing other things. Before the end of this year two of my films will be released. I am also into clothing line named Karen. I have lots of businesses up my sleeves.

So you have a lot of money to throw around?
I no know o. Na you sabi. I just tell you say I dey do business. You no fit say congratulations. You come dey talk say I get a lot of money to throw around (laughter).
What value are you adding to the programme?
I am the same Karen you guys saw on The Big Brother. I am original and I am adding originality to the programme.
So, it was really you?
Yes, no pretence. That was really me.
When you were going for the Big Brother reality show, what was on your mind?
I no even know. I just got one mind and God blessed me. In fact, my mission was to go there, meet other people all together. It was a wonderful experience and at the end, God said I am the winner and thank God, I won.
You were one of the housemates of The Next Movie Star which you never won. How will you compare the exeperience of the reality show to that of Big Brother?
I don’t know, but it’s God and I give Him all the glory. When God says this is your time, nothing can stop you.
What will you say is going for you as Karen Igho?
A lot is happening. The radio programme, the movie, my clothing line, starting a reality show with some other celebrities. I am into modelling, there are other proposals at hand. I don’t know whether I should say it now. No, I won’t say it.
What challenges are you facing for now?
There are lots of challenges. Life itself is a challenge. Going to Big Brother was a challenge. This one is a challenge too.
As a single girl, having hands in so many things, don’t you think of settling down one day? I mean getting married?
Ah! I wan marry o. No be say settling down alone. I want to marry and I know that my husband is outside there waiting for me. Anytime, I want to marry. I will someday get one.
How soon is that?
Ah! I will first find one, know him very well before thinking of marriage. Abi make I marry any man I see for road?
Who is your ideal man?
My ideal man must be God fearing, loving, caring. Money does not matter. Just the personality. Sometimes love is not about money. It is about the person, it is about connection. I mean you connect.
Don’t you think some men could be scared because of your personality and achievement?
Why should men be scared? They have forgotten that I am a woman at the end of the day. Men are supposed to be the head and take care of women. I am still young and it is only God that gave me this opportunity. I know my man is out there and he will not be scared of me. Karen’s man is not scared. How can men be scared of me. I am a very nice person.
How do you see yourself because people have a different perceptions about your personality?
I am a down-to-earth person, friendly, etc.
How romantic are you?
I am very, very romantic.

News: Sexy Dance Disturbs Guys
While Goldie slaved away in the kitchen, Prezzo was drooling over the girls' provocative dances.

Prezzo, Keagan and occasionally Keitta took Talia and Jannette's sensual dance moves the hardest. Without saying a word, Keagan was glued to Talia's belly like glue while Prezzo couldn't even contain himself and at some point even asked Keitta not to disturb the girls.

All that while, his girl Goldie was scrubbing, scouring and stirring like her life depends on it. The girls certainly brought much needed entertainment in the House as the guys simply couldn't get enough of all that gyrating.

Ooh La La!

News: Lady May Doesn't Play!
Just in case Kyle was getting too comfortable with Lady May, she put him in his place.

The two had a rather awkward bonding session playing cards while the rest of the Housemates were drinking but Lady May's private life was still out of bounds.

"It's not a requirement for the game and I told Biggie too," Lady May stressed her point as their game of cards continued.

She added that she was not perfect as no one is but she'd really prefer to keep her private life just that, private.

Once that was out of the way, the two enjoyed a general chat about music and some African artists that they both know.

News: How Long Does it Take You?
What's the right timeframe to fall for someone; is it at first sight, a week or months?

It's always about love, relationships and sex in the House once the alcohol starts flowing. "I have never fallen for someone in less than two weeks of knowing them," Talia confessed while Jannette insisted on being the 'months-kind-of-girl'.

"Some women prefer to study their men," Jannette stressed to which the guys opposed. "You mean you don't believe in love at first sight?" Keagan queried.
Talia decided to make it clear that she had never experienced love at first sight and preferred not to comment.

News: Hot Massages.

Was today a general massage day in the Big Brother House ?
After winning the Head of House task, the Golden girl was rewarded with a professional massage from  a pyramid Spa worker. A few moments later, Jannette also comfortably lied on Keitta‘s back and gave him the same treatment.
The little princess took her good time and offered a ride to Keitta. Using her elbow to perfect her craft, Jannette kneaded the Ghanaian Housemate’s back stroke by stroke and it seemed as if he was happy with the results.
She did this as the rest of the Housemates were witnessing while smiling and Talia   was heard trying to add her some tips.
The House looks to be hit by boredom but the Housemates are trying their best to make it balanced.

News: Lady May’s Crazy Ways

Fri, 13 Jul 2012

News: Lady May’s Crazy Ways
Who walks out of the shower all covered in white foam from dried up soap, looking like a daytime ghost? Lady May that’s who.

This afternoon Big Brother called all of the Housemates into the living room to announce punishment for Wati and Keagan’s drunken antics.

While most reasonable people would think to first rinse off before heading out of the shower, this sense of logic was lost on the eccentric Namibian.

After Biggie’s summon the singer waltz out in lathered up in soap from head to toe and wearing only her undergarments, a shower cap and a towel as the other Housemates looked on in astonishment.

The Upville dame only decided to quickly go back and wash up at the suggestion of a concerned Goldie. Sometimes it really does seem like Lady May lives in her own little world.

News: Golden Treatment For Goldie

After winning the Head of House Task in the afternoon, Big Brother has decided to reward new sheriff Goldie.
The Nigerian lass was a treated to a massage though she felt shy while undressing before the masseur.
Shortly after her victory, she was summoned to the diary room where Biggie revealed her reward for coming out tops in the just concluded HoH Task. She was whisked away from the other housemates and thus had her massage.
After an original Upville winning the sheriff’s badge, dynamics could change in the house since Upvillers have been nominated twice in a row, next week could register a lot of changes.
Congratulation to the Golden one and hope she enjoys her reign as she resumes duties on Monday next week.

Punishment: Keagan And Wati Reprimanded
Fri, 13 Jul 2012

Punishment: Keagan And Wati Reprimanded
The wrath of Big Brother’s fury fell upon Keagan and Wati this afternoon.

Biggie has finally had it with all of the drunken antics in the House, today he came down hard on Keagan and Wati for their irresponsible drinking habits. “You have left Big Brother no choice, and quite frankly Big Brother has had enough,” he scolded just before he laid out the punishment.

One by one, Biggie broke down each of the transgressions that the twosome had committed. He chastised Keagan for influencing Wati to smash soft-drink cans against the wall which led to one of the mirrors getting cracked. In his drunken state Keagan broke the laundry hanger, struck Keitta with the cable of is microphone and tampered with the fire safety equipment. All of these actions constitute malicious damage to Big Brother property which is a direct contravention of the House Rules.

The Housemates have been handed the following punishment:
1. Wati is permanently banned from drinking for the duration of his stay in the Big Brother House.
2. There will be NO alcohol entering the House for the WHOLE of next week and any Housemates who order alcohol on their shopping budget will forfeit their stars.

After announcing their penalty Biggie then gave a stern warning to the troublesome twosome that should they continue to vandalise Big Brother property then they will be automatically Nominated for Eviction and will be stripped of their rights to Nominate any of the other Housemates.

To end off the reprimanding he cautioned all of the Housemates that if any of them engages in actions that endanger their fellow StarGamers lives they will be disqualified.

Breaking News: Goldie Wins Head Of House Seat

Goldie has become the latest sheriff in the StarGame house after fighting off stiff competition from the other housemates especially Kyle.
The Head of House Task was all about housemates stretching their arms at 90 degrees consistently and in case a housemate lowered their arms, they were automatically disqualified. It also centered around housemates’ focus, strength and determination.
All housemates gathered in the garden where they stood in a circle. The Task kicked off and Prezzo was the first to be disqualified for contravening the HoH Task rules. Keitta, Jannette, Lady May, Keagan, Wati, Talia and Alex followed suit before Kyle also bowed out. Goldie remained the only housemate standing and was thus declared the next Sheriff. Kyle looked determined but when he looked at Goldie and noticed her determination not to give up, the Ugandan lad gave in and Goldie remained at her spot until Biggie announced her the winner.
After her victory, she was congratulated by Prezzo who looked excited and could not stop giggling and clapping his hands.
Keagan and Prezzo had made it a point to fight for the HoH position as they claimed that it was the only way to ensure that someone stays in the game. Well, non of the boys won.
Goldie resumes her duties on Monday next week.

News: Love Is In The Air

Fri, 13 Jul 2012

News: Love Is In The Air
The spell of happiness is going around the Big Brother House today.

Earlier in the morning it was Keitta who woke up in high spirits and tried to share his merriness with the other Housemates as he went around the House exclaiming: “It’s a beautiful day”. Later in the day it was Goldie who looked like she got it all this morning. As soon as the songstress got up this morning she put on a show for her man.

With the music blasting in the background the Nigerian performer shook what her mamma gave her for her boo, Prezzo. The singer seemed particularly excited when Biggie played ‘Love Is In The Air’ by South African pop artist Toya Delazy. She sang along to the words of the hit track as she gyrated her hips.

News: It’s A Beautiful Friday!

Fri, 13 Jul 2012

News: It’s A Beautiful Friday!
Keitta clearly got it all this morning. StarGame’s ultimate lazy boy was up bright and early this morning full of energy.

The Ghanaian headed outside in the garden and was pleasantly surprised to find the sun shining outside. With his spirits lifted high by this sight, the jolly fellow decided to head into the bedrooms to share his good mood with everyone else.

He did his best to try and wake up the rest of the sleepyheads in the House, he went to each of them one by one and pulled down the blankets and shouted at the top of his lungs, “Wake up, it’s a beautiful Friday.” But alas his efforts were in vain, try as he may to get them to go outside and cease the day, instead of wasting it on sleep, his enthusiasm was met with annoyed drowsy moans or empty promises to join him in the garden later.

Even the few that he did convince to wake up did not share his optimism, “It’s not that beautiful,” quipped Alex. Jeez Alex, did you wake up on the wrong side of bed today? As for Keitta what could be reason for Upville lad looking like the cat that got the cream this morning?
