Roki Leicester Show Marred By Bad Publicity

The Leicester show featuring Zimbabwe’s music star Roki is currently underway with a poor turn out of about 69 people at 02.00am. It is alleged that one online UK based paper published incorrect information without speaking to either Roki or any of the promoters based in the UK.
Mad-boys Promotions promoter Kithlitan Mawarire poured his heart out to ZIMDiaspora.
“The online paper has destroyed our reputation by publishing a story stating that Roki’s band had been denied visas to the UK. The truth is we never applied for visas for Roki’s band because we already have a backing band for Roki. Nottingham based Gentlemans band is backing Roki. The paper claimed they got the information from a paper based in Zimbabwe. The paper is alleged to have published a story stating Roki’s band was denied visas. The UK based online paper did not speak to any of my team and Roki has denied having spoken to them. We have been making contact with the UK online paper requesting them to pull down their story or make the necessary corrections since Thursday but they did not do so and they have all stopped picking our calls. A follow up story has however been done but it has not corrected the damage” said a furious Mawarire.
“Bad publicity has killed our show after the hard work we put into it” added Mawarire.
Other members of Mad -Boyz Promotions Alex Mutoro and Malcolm Kafesu have also expressed their disappointment.
The fans at Leicester Starlite De Venue are enjoying the music from supporting artists as they wait for Roki and EsQ to come onstage. Next on stage will be Boyz Retonaz.
Madboys Promotions have appealed to their loyal fans and those who love music to come out in their large numbers for the shows in Manchester to be held Saturday September 15 and Sunday September 16 in London.

Check This Out Keitta’s ‘One Boxer’ Track Is Out.

Now it has become a norm for Ghanaian representatives to the Big Brother Africa reality show to return home as musicians, especially the ones who went there not as musicians.
Keitta, the younger brother of Hip Life originator and one of the three Ghanaian reps to the Big Brother Stargame is taking advantage of the controversies that his famous boxer created in the house and back home in Ghana.
At his eviction press conference in Accra, Keitta said “I had the chance to go to the Mall and it was crazy; all the girls were asking ‘where are your boxers?’ I thought people were going to diss me about it but they actually loved it. The girls were crazy about my boxers. I think my boxers are even more famous than I am”
He has since gone on several media platforms to announce that he was in the studio working on a track titled ‘One Boxer’ and talk about issues concerning the noise about his famous boxer
The track has been release today. Listening to the song, it’s obvious that Keitta is not a musician (maybe nursing that dream) as the lyrics are nothing to write home about but due to the ‘azonto’ nature of the song; it can get many on the dance floor.
Funny, in a line he asked what’s the big deal in not winning the US300,000 dollars? He gave shout out to his female fans who wants his details stressing that, he’s a faithful man and still with Eazzy.

Former BBA’s Millicent & Other Kenyan Celebs’ Nude Photos On Facebook

Facebook has done it again. This time round there is a page with over 15,000 followers that boasts of nude and semi-nude photos purportedly from East African region. The page dubbed East Africa’s Baddest and Rudest B*tches has posted photos of females half dressed or in revealing attire and nude photos as well.
It has also lifted photos of other Kenyan female celebrities – probably from google images – and posted on the page. They are Big Brother Housemate and actress Millicent Mugadi, rapper Stella Mwangi a.k.a STL and Ogopalet Marya. Millicent told Word Is, “My cousin who lives in Australia called me to tell me that my photo has been posted on the page. My problem is that they have placed my photos next to nude ones, which makes it look like I took nude photos.
“I have reported the page to Facebook all week, asking them to pull it down. I have even asked my friends to do the same but, two weeks later, it is still online.” Millicent just jetted in this week from Ghana after attending an event organised by fellow Big Brother Amplified housemate Confidence Haugen. She was also in Nigeria fro a series of shows. Of her trip to Nigeria she said that her dealings are “pending” because “the country is preparing for elections and nothing much is happening till after.”
