When in Rome do as the Romans do and when in Upville gossip and the Upvillers do. That seems to be the motto that Junia is following since being upgraded to the VIP House earlier this evening.

While fellow Upville newbie Keagan spent the evening chatting merrily with the rest of the Housemates, Junia has been locked in a lengthy gossip session with none other Upville’s reigning gossip empress, Maneta.

It looks like Junia is looking to stir things up among the celebrity Housemates. “So if I kissed him would that be a problem?” Junia asked naughtily after Maneta dished to her about the lack of intimacy in Goldie and Prezzo’s relationship. The more the Maneta described the Nigerian singer it just seemed to get the pint-sized Housemate riled even more to that point that Junia even said: “I just know when I am going to fight with someone.”

Maneta then waxed lyrical about her playful relationship with Keitta. “Keitta is such a baby. He is such a sissy he cringes every time I go near him that is why I like to play with him, it’s entertaining,” confessed the young beauty.

Maneta then gave her the low-down on DKB and Zainab and the heated altercation that saw the two getting disqualified.

Next in the firing line for Maneta’s lethal tongue were Roki and Lady May. She described her fellow countryman as “crazy” before moving on to Lady May. Maneta gave a detailed description of the Namibian songbird’s eccentric behaviour and cautioned: “Don’t joke with her ever she does not take kindly to jokes”.

Earlier on Junia looked sombre while complaining about feeling out of place but all of that is forgotten now and it is amazing to see just how quickly she has taken to the backstabbing ways of the Upville Housemates. Could it be that her true colours are finally showing?

Keagan and has taken to Upville like fish to water. After being upgraded to the VIP House the charming lad spent the evening chatting freely and mingling with his new Housemates.

Seeing the way that he has had no trouble settling in into his new home it is hard to believe that it was just a few hours ago that he was a resident of Downville.

So how have the VIP Housemates reacted to the latest addition in their StarGame home? Keitta and Maneta were overjoyed at the sight of their former Housemate. The two former Downvillers excitedly jumped out of the bedroom where they had been hiding while waiting for the South African.

Keitta has made no secret of his admiration for Keagan, earlier in the week he expressed his appreciation for the South African’s no nonsense attitude. Only time will tell where will these bromance lead. Barbz was also very excited to have a fellow countryman in the House.

One person that does not seem to be too pleased by Keagan’s presence is Prezzo. Although the Kenyan tried to hide is displeasure it was clearly visible by his timid demeanour.

Could it be that the alpha male has finally met his match? Keagan is not one to tolerate nonsense from anyone so it will be interesting to see how these two audacious men will get along under the same roof.

Live Eviction: Keagan and Junia Enter Upville
Sun, 17 Jun 2012 22:00

For the first time in StarGame history two Housemates have been upgraded to Upville. Keagan and Junia have become the newest members of the VIP House.

As soon as she entered Upville, Junia expressed her thoughts on how who she wishes will be the second upgraded Downville, saying: “I hope it’s not Keagan, I hope it’s Lee”.

Earlier on while up on the Live Eviction Stage StarGame presenter IK grilled Junia about the number of guys she has kissed in the House. Over the past six weeks she has kissed four guys in total – Alex, Ola, Lee and separated from Lee and over the past six weeks Keagan has always had his more sensible StarGame partner to watch his back during all of his shenanigans. So how will Keagan measure up amongst the backstabbing Housemates of Upville without his wingman? We’ll have to wait and see.

DKB releases apology song to Zainab and Africa

Derick Kobina Boney popularly known as DKB has released an apology song in a bid to prove to Big Brother Africa StarGame housemate Zainab and Africa how remorseful he is.

DKB was on Monday, June 4 disqualified from the reality show for slapping Zainab who peeped at him while he was taking a shower.

He, together with the Serra Leonean, was disqualified on the basis of what organisers of the 91-day reality show, MNet and Endemol, described as violence that contravened the rules of the game.

His action received worldwide condemnation from many who saw it as demeaning, unethical and affront to the fight against violence against women.

The comedian issued an unqualified apology to the housemate and the show’s viewers soon after the incident but his new move to render another apology through a song, he said, is to prove how serious he is.

The song, Apology released Saturday features female artiste Shee_Rap. Apology does not only render an apology to Zainab but it also touches on the need to fight violence against women which has been the central theme of the incident.

Management of DKB said in a statement, that “the song, which is an embodiment of DKB’s total and final apology, is also an initiative to touch on gender violence and its repercussions and he is hoping it would send out a clear message to all to avoid any form of violence against either men or women in the society.”

The statement added that “the comedian intends using this medium to prove to Ghanaians and Africa at large how remorseful he is and his take on the issue of violence.”
