Big Brother Africa Star Munyaradzi Chidzonga To Wed

Popular actor and Big Brother Africa star Munyaradzi Chidzonga will be joined in holy matrimony today to songstress Adiona Maboreke.
Their private wedding is scheduled for the exquisite Tree Valley in Chisipite. The former Big Brother Star’s wedding will be a private affair after it was not put in the public eye like any other celebrity wedding.
Meanwhile, fashionable reggae crooner, Mike Madamombe better known as Mic Inity, will tie the knot with his wife and manageress Christine Manatsa at the Roman Catholic Church at Nazareth Hall along Enterprise Road.
“I am wedding tomorrow but I am sorry I cannot share my private life with you,” Mic Inity told NewsDay yesterday.
“This is between me and my wife and our families. If it had been something to do with my music life I would have given you all the information you need.”
Pressed further he said: “I have told you what I can and I will not say anything more.
“You should understand it is not all about me but whatever I say may affect my relationship with my wife and many people.”
In a separate interview his wife said she was excited.
“You know, it is an exciting experience to engage in something that has got God’s blessings.
“We will be joined at the Roman Catholic Church and the reception will be at a private function,” said Manatsa.

Kenya: Vimbai On Rapper Jaguar And New Show

Former Big Brother housemate Vimbai Mutinhiri has spoken about her links to Kenya. The 25-year-old Zimbabwean model, who is a co-host to South African Lawrence Maleka, 22, in the ongoing TV show, Star Gist, told Word Is: “I met Jaguar in South Africa during the finale of the Big Brother Amplified and we had a chat. I told him I love his single Kigeugeu.”
The show features African entertainment news daily and exciting programme segments like the the ‘Celeb cam’, where a celeb or artiste attends an event and shares their view, their experience, where they were staying and who they were with. Vimbai said Kenyan celebs might “hopefully” be part of the show “because Kenyan music industry is one of the fastest growing in the continent.”
She says she is loving learning more about her favourite African personalities. “We have so many more success stories than we give ourselves credit for”. Her co-host, Lawrence, admitted that the most he knows about Kenya is that “the women are beautiful”.
Lawrence auditioned for the show because he needed a new challenge.
“Star Gist is an amazing show that celebrates our own, showing that we are just as good if not better than our international counterparts. The crew is made up of a vibrant group of people that love their work.” His proudest achievement? “My first television show, I had the highest ratings for the channel,” he said.
