News: “I Want Breast Implants”

News: “I Want Breast Implants”
Petite StarGame lass Jannette revealed this evening that after she leaves the Big Brother House she wants to go under the knife to get a plumper décolletage.

“I want breast implants,” declared the Ugandan while having a late night chat with Keagan and Talia. After her declaration she then enquired from Keagan how much the cosmetic operation costs in South Africa. Keagan gave her a rough estimation of the total cost of the surgery based on the amount that Lee’s cousin had paid when she had her implants done a few years ago.

Jannette’s friend Talia completely shot down this idea telling her young girl pal to rather wait a few more years for her body to grow naturally curvy.

But her advice seemed to go in one ear and straight out the other as Jannette retorted: “That’s just too long for me to wait.” From the looks of things, nothing will deter the Ugandan dame from her mission and she has her heart set on a complete makeover as she later revealed that she also wants to have butt implants and lip injections.

Jannette has on numerous occasions spoken out about her insecurities over diminutive frame but it is hard to imagine her as anything other than the naturally petite cutie that she is. But it is her body and her decision and hopefully whatever she decides it will be for the right reasons and not because she thinks it will cure her insecurities.

News: Does Keagan Want Talia?

News: Does Keagan Want Talia?
On a quiet Tuesday evening the sometime flirting buddies Talia and Keagan faced off in game of cards.

While many of the Housemates chose to retire to bed quite early on this chilly night, the twosome chose to rather stay up late as the Zambian played teacher to the South African helping him learn a new card game. As the game progressed it was clear that Keagan was quite the natural and the Upville lad was certainly not shy to gloat about his talents. “This is how the game is supposed to be played,” he boasted.

In the past Keagan has admitted that if he could date any girl in the House, Talia would be his first choice and it is clear that he still feels the same way because every time he is around her his face just lights up. This evening they seemed at ease with each other giggling and exchanging some light-hearted banter between them and we have to admit that the two do look kind of cute together and clearly Jannette has noticed this too. Just last week the Ugandan question her girl pal, “What if you fall for Keagan?” But of course Talia’s retains that her heart belongs only to one and that is Seydou, who is quite the looker himself might we add.

This Talia is a lucky girl to have so many good-looking fellas falling at her feet. Who would you choose Keagan or Seydou?

News: Jannette Vents About Junia's Gossiping Ways
Even though the Junia and Malonza made their exit from the Big Brother House more than a week ago but Jannette still can’t seem to shake them off.

The petite StarGame lass’ conscious was heavily plagued by thoughts of the Namibian and she spent the evening venting to Talia. This was sparked on by a rumour that the Namibian had apparently started about the Ugandan.

Over the past few days, Jannette has grown increasingly closer to Keitta and during a heart to heart session between the two the Ghanaian shared with her that Junia had told him that the only reason that Jannette had befriended Mildred in Downville was because the Ugandan secretly plotting to snatch the StarGame lad away.

The Upville lass was startled to hear this especially because she had believed that she had done her utmost to remain on civil terms with the Namibian. “I’m shocked,” Jannette repeatedly told Talia. It was clear by her recessed demeanour that she felt betrayed. Luckily for her Talia was on hand to listen, the Zambian also dished out some tough love to her friend. She told Jannette to get over it and that she should not let this bother her adding: “Not everyone in this world is going to like you, some people will say things about you behind your back.” Those are harsh but true words from Talia and after a while of venting it seems like she finally got through to her friend.

Gossip: Winky D Restores Zimbabwe’s Big Brother Honour

Winky D restored a measure of honour for Zimbabwe on the Big Brother Africa show on Sunday night with a stunning performance of his song, Takaipa Takaipa, on the M-Net TV show.
The Kambuzuma-born star – self-dubbed the ‘Messi of reggae’ – was the main performer on eviction night.
The last time Zimbabweans were on the show the country’s image took a battering when housemates Maneta Mazanhi and the singer Rockford Josphats were involved in an ugly spat which ended with both of them evicted for violence.
The 29-year-old Winky D, real name Wallace Chirumiko, overcame a language barrier as he animatedly belted his smash hit – striking an immediate connection with the audience of mainly South Africans.
With a huge Zimbabwean flag projected on the screen behind him, Winky D set about to prove Zimbabwe has got talent, and in the end praise came from Big Brother Africa host I.K who declared: “That’s right, we love it we love it!”

Gossip: Mampi Regrets Roki-Maneta Brawl

Zambian R&B star and former Big Brother Stargame housemate Mampi says she could have easily avoided a brawl between Zimbabwean urban groover Roki and his counterpart Maneta Mazanhi had she stayed in the house for long.
Mampi, who jetted into Harare on Wednesday to record a song with Roki, said she was closer to both Roki and Maneta than anybody else in the house.
In an exclusive interview last week, the Zambian star said the fight could have been avoided if she “was still in the house when the argument started because I am close to both Roki and Maneta”.
She added: “Our relationship goes back to how Zambians relate to Zimbabweans and if asked who was closer to me between Roki and Maneta I would say both.”
Nicknamed “Thunder Thighs” during her stay in the house because of her revealing shorts and dances, the 25-year-old singer said Roki and Maneta’s disqualification broke her heart.
Mampi, who was in Zimbabwe for the first time despite her mother being Zimbabwean, said she enjoyed recording the single with Roki. She expressed hope that the single would appeal to a wider crossover audience.
“I am excited to be in Zimbabwe and I think it is for the love of music even though my mother is Zimbabwean I have never been here.
“This is my first time to collaborate with a Zimbabwean artiste and I wish I had stayed longer because it feels like home,” she said.

She said while she was known as an entertainer on stage she was a different person while in the house.
“Mampi the artiste is different from the one you saw in Big Brother because when I go on stage that is an act or performance but on the reality show I wanted to be myself,” she said.
Roki and Mampi spent the greater part of Thursday working in the studio before the “Chidzoka” star hosted a dinner for Mampi at a restaurant in Highlands.
Roki said his collaboration with Mampi would enhance his breakthrough in the Zambian market.
“It was a 50-50 arrangement where she wrote half of the song and I did the other half to avoid an ownership wrangle,” he jokingly said. “The purpose of this collaboration was to try and break into other markets. So we are hoping that she will build a fan base here and I will do the same when I go to Zambia,” he said. Plans are already afoot for joint shows in Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Roki has so far performed two sellout shows, one at Oliver Mtukudzi’s farewell gig and another in Kwekwe, where he thrilled fans.
The urban groover has released some of his new videos where he features Lovedale “Discord” Makalanga and MC Chita since being booted out of the StarGame.

Nigerians vent at Goldie for “disgracing” her country

Nigerians have vented their anger at Goldie for what they termed a poor and disgraceful performance in the Big Brother Africa StarGame reality show.
The Nigerian musician was evicted Sunday night after 70 days in a show that has been dominated by Nigeria for the past three years.
Nigeria has won the show on three consecutive occasions, Kelvin Pam in 2009, Uti Nwachukwu in 2010 and Karen Igho in 2011.
After that impressive run by Nigerian representatives and an unexpected voluntary exit of Ola and Chris from this year’s show, a lot was expected from Goldie, who was the only remaining Nigerian.
She was however seen to be on a hunt for love than the US$300,000 prize at stake. Constantly in an on and off relationship with Kenyan housemate, Prezzo, Nigerian fans tagged her as the country’s worst representative to the show.
Hundreds of Nigerians vented their anger at the singer after her exit on several social media sites including Facebook.

Task: Boat Race

Task: Boat Race
This evening the Housemates braved the cold weather to take part in a boat race.

This mini challenge put to the test the Housemates strength and skill, in the garden the StarGamers found a miniature red river that Coca Cola and Big Brother had assembled, for Housemates to race their boats in. The challenge called upon each Housemate to use their might to turn the handle of the propeller to make the boat go forward to the end of the course.

Halfway through the mini Task Kyle broke off the handle of the propeller. Who knew Kyle was so strong? Hmmm… underneath that cool exterior is there a mighty hunk waiting to burst free? From now on we’ll be keeping a closer watch on this StarGame lad.

As for the race it was part of this week’s Coca-Cola Games Task for which the Housemates have Wagered 100%. Do you think it is wise of the Housemates to once again put it all on the line?

News: Jannette Diary Session

Jannette Diary Session
She thinks that Kyle adores Talia and it could be the reason Talia couldn’t have been picked by Kyle as replacement for one of the nominated housemates. She therefore believes that Keitta was the victim of the save and replace act struck by Kyle last evening. She’s proud of herself especially for having reached this far in the game. She cites some of her fellow Ugandan contestants in the past shows who left in the second or third weeks of the show.
Task: she’s not a sports person and foresees a challenge when it comes to singing the national anthem. She singles out Alex whom she says that he doesn’t know his anthem. She also know a few stanzas in her national anthem.
Speaking of the wager, she says the 100% was the right decision even though they will not have it easy when it comes to singing the national anthems.
Speaking of trust and loyalty in the house; She says that she trusts Kyle so much and even made plans with him before coming into the house. She adds that the way she trusts Kyle can not be compared to the way she trusts other housemates like Alex and all. She also adds that its important for her to remain loyal to her partner Kyle including the friendships she’s created in the house like Talia. Besides Kyle, she says that she’s closest to Talia, Alex and Keitta. She singles out Wati as the Downviller she ain’t close to because of the small things wati kept on doing to her while in Downville. Because of the small things from Wati that upset her, She’s now more closer to Keagan than Wati.

News: “Talia Is A Hot Chic”-Kyle

Many fans were asking the reasons as to why of the three choices Jannette, Talia and Keitta Kyle had for the save and replace deal he swapped Keitta.
Fellow Housemates discussed the issue and had their own opinions;
Kyle could not swap Jannette because she is a conutrymate  and a former partner while still in Downville.
He could  not  swap Talia because  it is believed that he has something for her. Wati confirmed this in his Diary Room session when he said that Kyle has a “more than friend thing ” for Talia therefore he couldn’t swap her.
The only choice he had was Keitta. Though Keitta and Kyle are believed to be best friends,it was a small bond compared to that of Jannette and Talia.
However, the details of the issue  came from the horse’s mouth (Kyle). During his Diary Room session this afternoon, when asked about yesterday’s nomination,Kyle said that he had three choices of which he saw Keitta being the strongest and could survive the evictions.
Biggie was a bit curious and asked Kyle to explain further about his relationship with Talia.  Kyle  said that ” Biggie, you know it, Talia is a hot chic. I had a thing for her but that was some time back and now it has been fading ”
Kyle went further and said that right now he and Talia are just good friends and that  there was nothing connected to their friendship that put her away from the swap .
Was Kyle sincere when he said that the thing he had for Talia went fading slowly by slowly?

News: Talia Diary Session

Talia Diary Session
Talia is fine but with a bit of flu and wants medication.
Task: she thinks the task is nice, refreshing and fun including the tic tac board game. She talks of winning only one play in the board game.
Speaking of nominations; she says that she expected to be nominated with the common denominators {Keagan, Prezzo} and Lady May. She however doesn’t know why she survived being nominated. She adds that Kyle had no more choices of replacements except herself and Keitta. She however doesn’t seem to know where she stands in terms of her relationship with Kyle. She has no problems with Lady May’s love for her privacy and wearing pink shoes. She doesn’t seem to get Prezzo’s jokes and joking lifestyle.
Yesterday she had revealed that it wasn’t fair for Downvillers to stick to the fact that its them who have to win the grand prize and not Upvillers. She reveals also that even though she discussed this issue with Kyle, Kyle stuck to his initial belief and she also claimed to hers. Nothing changed after the discussion. She thinks that she’s an emotionally logical person when asked about her feeling on the statement “men are from Mars and women are from Venus.”
As she wraps up, she reveals what she thinks about most and points out her sister Tamara, Seydou and what things she would have done differently. She reveals her thoughts about the outside world where she states that she can’t change anything about herself. So she wouldn’t change any thoughts about what people feel about her because what she has already exposed is herself.
When asked where she would rather be if there was no prize money, she hesitantly chooses the big Brother house but staying for specific period of time as opposed to being in the outside world.

Diary Room: Keitta Okay With Kyle's Decision?

Tue, 17 Jul 2012

Diary Room: Keitta Okay With Kyle's Decision?
Things took an interesting turn during Keitta's diary session this afternoon as a curios Big Brother wanted to know from the StarGamer how he will feel on Sunday if he is to find out that Kyle, the Head of House, has put him up for possible Eviction.

Of course when Biggie asked this question it was knowledge that Kyle has already done the deed. The Ghanaian quickly assured Biggie that if that is the case then there would be no hard feelings. He told Big Brother, “He is a good dude and he will still be coming to Ghana and we are going to work on some music together. No matter what his decision I will understand.”

This is certainly a mature outlook to take. But will he still feel the same way on Sunday when he finds out that Kyle did in fact use his ‘Save and Replace’ power to save Keagan and replaced him with Keitta?

The last time Keitta was put up for Eviction by an HoH it was by Goldie who saved Prezzo and even though at the time he said that he understood but ever since then he has always Nominated Goldie for Eviction.

So will the Upville lad still be as understanding about Kyle's decision come Eviction day when he finds out that his own friend put him on the chopping block or will he feel betrayed? Hmmm… we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on Keitta to find out.

Diary Room: Letter To My Daughter

Diary Room: Letter To My Daughter

Prezzo wrote (kind of) an interesting letter to his daughter today.

In his Diary Session this afternoon, Prezzo was all about family. The Kenyan rapper beamed from ear to ear as he spoke about the love he has for his daughter.

Prezzo looked into the cameras and recited a rap, which he signed and sealed with a kiss. He then asked Big Brother to deliver the letter to his precious princess, Zaria.

Diary Room: "Kyle Saved Alex" - Keagan

Tue, 17 Jul 2012

Diary Room:
Keagan thinks Kyle saved Alex and put Keitta up in his place instead.

Keagan is not one to hold his tongue. The South African Housemate was as candid as ever in his Diary Session, where he expressed his dislike for Lady May, amongst many other things.

Before going in on her, Keagan discussed last night's 'Save and Replace' and revealed how he thinks Kyle saved Alex and replaced him with Keitta. Little does Keagan know that Kyle actually saved him (Keagan).

It definitely will be a pleasant surprise, considering that just last week; Keagan did not hesitate to put Kyle on the Eviction gallows. Talk about letting bygones be bygones.

"We saw it as soon as he stepped out of the Save and Replace diary. His body language changes when he is engrossed in conversations with the person he swapped. It's definitely Keitta," Keagan said.

He also acknowledged that it is becoming increasingly difficult at this point in the game, to Nominate. "We will end up Nominating our friends. It's sad, but it's a game," he said.

Diary Room: "They Don't Like Me" - Lady May

Tue, 17 Jul 2012

Diary Room:
Lady May has a feeling her fellow Housemate don't like her much.

Lady May's name popped up on this week's Nominees list. The Namibian Housemate has survived Eviction twice in a row already. Today, the heartbroken singer sat down for a chat with Big Brother and told him how her presence in the House seems to annoy everybody.

"I know now that most of them don't like me. I was not surprised when my name was called. I was not surprised, but obviously I was hurt. I'm human," she said.

Lady May then complained about Keagan not pulling his weight when it comes to keeping the House clean. Prezzo washed the dishes, while Keagan headed upstairs to take a nap. Keagan and the other boys let the dishes pile up in the sink, even before Prezzo finished cleaning up. Please talk to them Biggie,"she said.

Keagan, on the other hand, seemed to find the cleaning thing funny. "I don't feel like cleaning and will not be, anytime soon," he said.

The South African Housemate then ran a commentary on the state of every room and rated each from one to ten.

Task: All Out For Coca-Cola Games

Tue, 17 Jul 2012

Task: All Out For Coca-Cola Games
With Olympics fever sweeping through the globe, Coca-Cola has made it possible for the Housemates to get into the spirit of things.

This week's Task is called 'Big Brother Coca-Cola Games' and will see the Housemates competing against each other, for a chance to make themselves and their respective countries proud.

The Housemates did not dilly dally about and after Kyle had read through the Task Brief, the confident StarGamers unanimously agreed to a 100 Percent Task Wager. The Housemates are expected to be kitted out in Coca-Cola gear for the duration of the Task.

The first order of business was a game of 'Tic, Tac, Toe' in the garden.

Tic, Tac, Toe Board:

*First, two Housemates go up against each other, with the aim of getting three balls in a row.
*The winner faces the next challenger.
*Last Housemate on the board will be the winner.

News: Swagg For Days!

News: Swagg For Days!
Our StarGame boys are definitely men of many talents.

Whenever the boys get together, there is bound to be a bit of entertainment to follow. This morning, the fellas went head to head, during an epic rap battle.

Prezzo, Keitta and Wati flexed their swagger and engaged in some skilful word play. It is always great to see the boys getting along.

Who do you think is the best rapper out of the lot?

Who, in your opinion, proper killed it?

News: Who’s StarGame’s Best Rapper?

The bonding between the boys is becoming stronger with time after the trio of Prezzo, Wati and Keitta engaged in a freestyling battle.
Keitta who likes rap so much was in a rap mood in the morning and thus challenged his friends Wati and Prezzo to try and compete with him. With each one of them throwing a few lines, it was clear which housemate killed it but all the same, it was clear that the StarGame men are definitely multi-talented.
Prezzo as expected put up a spirited performance and so did the other competitors though at the end of the day, there can only be one winner.
The StarGame male housemates are getting closer with each passing day and the bonds they are creating in the house are making it a better place to stay. It’s always good to see that housemates are sharing some positive energy.

News: Prezzo Does The Dishes

After the morning workout session, the Masai warrior grabbed all the dirty dishes and stormed the sink to clean them up.
After confessing that he was not a domesticated man, Prezzo beat all the odds and made himself busy with the dishes. As other housemates retreated to their beds after the workout, he preferred carrying out some chores in the kitchen area.
Recently, it was mainly Goldie and Lady May who were in charge of that specific department, however, it seems like there’s another team-mate to fill the gap left by the Golden one.
With Prezzo doing the dishes more often, Lady May will definitely have more time to rest or concentrate on other chores in the house.
It seems the recent occurrences in the house have made the president a more domesticated man in the house than ever before, well, way to go Prezzo!

Daybreak: Upvillers Open Up To Ex-Downvillers

After realizing that they are the only surviving Upvillers in the house, Lady May and Prezzo have been up to something and that’s basically to interact with their space invaders.
Of recent, Prezzo has had some fond memories with the boys and they are always seen smoking, playing cards or sharing jokes as a family. After Goldie‘s exit, Prezzo has to come out of the shell so that his stay is made easy.
As for Lady May, she has also tried bonding with the girls, she’s more open and just recently, the Namibian singer was giving advice to Jannette and Talia on how to make it in the music industry. Apart from that, Lady May has become more helpful as she even went an extra mile in helping out Talia pick her dress for the eviction night on Sunday.
However, Prezzo and Lady May have also had their share of bonding. Last night, the two spent some quality time together in the lounge. Perhaps after realizing that they are the only surviving Upvillers, they thought it was wise to try and get along well in the remaining days in the StarGame.
Meanwhile, most ex-Downvillers would prefer that one of them wins the money apart from Talia who has a different ideology. It’s definitely the case with Upvillers who think they deserve the money just like their ex-Downvillers counterparts.
Who do you think will win the money, an Upviller or ex-Downviller?
