News: "Thank You Goldie" - Prezzo
Sun, 24 Jun 2012 22:15
Prezzo thanked Goldie for saving him from the Eviction gallows.

As Upville finally quietened following the Live Eviction's, Prezzo followed Goldie upstairs and thanked her for saving him. "Thank you for saving my warrior a**. I appreciate what you did," he said. Goldie seemed to still be beating herself up over choosing to save Prezzo instead of her friend Barbz. "What else could I have done," she asked him, not expecting a response.

Goldie told Prezzo how difficult the swap had been for her and she was gutted that she had placed Keitta in the firing line. "Lady May was used in a swap by DKB. I could not do that to her again. Keitta was the only one I could put up," she told Prezzo.

Breaking News: Malawi And Zambia Nominated.

Posted  on Jun 24, 2012

Downville holiday is over because Zambia and Malawi have been nominated today in yet another dramatic random nomination.
Talia, Tamara and Wati, Nafe are up for possible eviction come Sunday. Two housemates will be making it to Upville to join Junia and Keagan who are a week old in Upville.
This means that Downville will be left with only four housemates; Kyle, Jannette (Uganda) and Alex, Malonza (Kenya).

The remaining housemates will surely have the whole huge Downville house to themselves and surely they have a lot of space at their disposal but ofcourse boredom is bound to sink unless they devise means of trying to cope without the nominees who are slated to leave on Sunday.

News: Goldie Nealz Down to apologize
Posted on Jun 24, 2012

Hey, did I tell you that “Although Africa was waiting for the live eviction show , the most important moment they were waiting for was that one when Goldie was to reveal to her fellow Housemates the person with whom she repalced with her man Prezzo.”.. No I didn’t  tell you but it was.
A shaking Goldie before shedding tears, she  explained to her fellow Housemates that it was not an intention to save Prezzo and leave Barbz but she was very confused and didn’t know what to do at that moment she was asked to save and replace.
Turning to Barbz the one she claimed to be her friend, a teary Nigerian songstress knelt down asking for forgiveness from Barbz for having betrayed her at the moment she needed her most.  Surprisingly, Barbz looked very understanding,  calm and prepared to go as she held up Goldie, hugged and told her to cool down as everything was al right  and understandable.
Coldie’s face was seen no more as she hid it under  the lounge. Goldie looked innocent and felt very down for betraying the people she calls her friends.
Earlier on during her Nomination session, Barbz said that had she survived the evictions and revealed that the so called friend of hers didn’t save her, fire would have risen in Upville and now it looks over. But still its not yet over as Goldie will have to explain  to Keitta that besides saving Barbz, why among all the Housemates she had to choose him. There looks to be more drama to unfold in Upville as the Ghanain will think of what to do next and who to trust.

Live Show: Doing It For Africa
Live Show: Doing It For Africa
Sun, 24 Jun 2012 20:33
The Live Eviction Show was jam packed with explosive performances from the cream of African talent.

Headlining the Live Show spectacular was Ghana's M.anifest, who proved why he is one of the finest Hip Hop talents to ever come out of the continent. The gorgeous emcee pulled off a stunning performance that had the excited audience mesmerised.

Malawi's DJ Malick on the other hand set the stage on fire, only a couple of hours after spinning incredible tunes during the debaucherous Saturday night party, which had the Downvillers showing off all kinds of dance moves.

Big Brother StarGame dancers, 'The Reptiles' were also on hand with some light-footed action on the Live Eviction Stage.

Evictions: Goodbye Barbz!

Posted by Joe on Jun 24, 2012

It’s been a long day in Upville for all housemates nominated or not. It was also a hard time for Goldie to reveal her replacement and when she called out Keitta‘s name, the Ghanaian looked surprised but kept calm and went upstairs to pack his bags.
Goldie knelt on her knees and begged Barbz for forgiveness because she had no choice as her man Prezzo was also on the nominated list. Barbz hugged her and seemingly accepted her apology.
Well, Big Brother presenter IK called his name and said that he was not leaving Upville meaning that he had survived the chop board.
As for Barbz, unfortunately she was evicted from the StarGame show, thus leaving one South African (Keagan) in the house.
However, alot remains to be uncovered in the coming weeks in the house because Keitta will surely leave no stones unturned especially in his nomination sessions because he now knows that anything and anybody can nominate him.
