News: Keitta The Great

For most of the night Keitta has put on an exquisite display of his musical capabilities.

The former Downville boys gathered together in the garden this evening for one of their regular jam sessions. Wati strummed on his guitar, Kyle had to improvise for the beat by with a lack of a drum set the innovative Ugandan banged rhythmically on the table.

But it was Keitta who stole the lime light from his fellow StarGamers. The talented Upville lad showed off his vocal abilities in a half rapping, half singing fashion. “Every time you looking, we balling,” sang the StarGamer.

Over the past couple of weeks it has become quite apparent that Mildred is not the only talented musician in their relationship. Now we know what brought these two love birds together - music and love what more could you ask for.

News: Lets Shake And Pump It.

The entertaining former Downville boys kept themselves and their fellow Housemates amused with humorous dance routine late this evening.

After earlier in the day the Housemates complained to Big Brother about the lack of music in the House, late into the night Biggie finally heeded their call and played a selection of pop hits for the StarGamers. As soon as the song ‘Pump It Up’ by South Africa artist Toya Delazy the Housemates jumped up and hit the impromptu dance floor.

Keagan, Kyle and Keitta showed jumped in line and together they displayed a series of questionable dance moves accompanied by comical facial expressions. Later on Jannette joined the gents for a how-low-can-you-go session as she, Keitta and Kyle watched themselves in the mirror slow winding to the beat.

Upville has certainly been a lot more lively now that the Houses have merged, clearly you can take the Housemate out of Downville but you can never take the Downville out of the Housemate.

The night was  alive with the Downvillers collected together as one family to do it in a Downville way. Before the Houses were merged, we used to believe that Downville was more entertaining House courtesy of their games. This evening, the Downville family was at it again.
The  boys gathered together in the garden this evening for one of their  jam sessions as they used to do it in Downville. With Wati strumming on his guitar, Kyle had to improvise for the beat by with a lack of a drum set the innovative Ugandan banged rhythmically on the table to bring up the sound.
All did what they had to do but it was Keitta who stole the show from his fellow Housemates. The Upville Ghanaian lad showed off his vocal abilities with half singing and rapping. All wondering, his fellow Housemates did the looking as he continued with his Performance.
For the past couple of weeks, Keitta has been trying to show that in their couple its not only Mildred talented in music but also he too can do it.
It was an amazing performance from the Downvillers and to mention the  Ghanaian lad.

News: “Will You Be My Strength?”-Junia.M

Just a word ” Love” is not even enough to describe the affection that is between Malonza and Junia.
In the evening   before going to bed,as other Housemates were inside, the two good friends Junia and Malonza were outside trying  to seal their friendship in style.
Junia updated Facebook status asking Malonza whgether he’ll be her strength” Will you be my strength Malonza?”. In just an a minute , Malonza had replied her through a Facebook status saying that he will be “Yes Junia, I will be your Strength” Malonza updated.
Just writing the word “Yes Junia” before even completing the whole sentence  accepting  that he will be her strength, Junia had already shed tears of joy. Looking at her eyes, were filled with something that the word  love is small to use while describing it.
In a short while, Malonzsa had joined Junia and the two were locked in each other’s arms while deeply kissing. Basing on this image,its hard to accept that these two are just good friends as Malonza  claims  though in the Diary room today he confirmed that he ios ready to welcome any benefit that will come with their friendship and the endless kisses are one of these values.

Blog: Will Goldie & Prezzo Ever Kiss

Since Biggie’s camera’s caught Goldie and Prezzo pecking last month during the sculpture task, the two are more than two month as couple but have not had anything intimate.
It took time for Goldie to consent to Prezzo suggestion of  her sleeping on his bed. Currently the two freely spend most of the time in the kitchen and at times on bed.
In their recent makeup, after Goldie accepted Prezzo’s apology, the Kenyan rapper asked for a makeup kiss but Goldie shied away.
Are these two shy before Biggie’s cameras that they might spend the three month in the house with out a kiss.
Or could it be that Goldie and Prezzo are trying to be responsible citizen and exemplary to  other housemates.
Could the series of breaks ups  that marred this relationship for the past two month be as a result of lack of such intimate bonding between the Goldezzos?
However at midnight Prezzo was heard telling Goldie that he feels like having his second child. Goldie laughed it off  saying ” your are mad”

Gossip: DKB To Embark On “Anti-Gender Violence” Nation-Wide Campus Tour

Former Ghanaian representative to the big brother stargame reality show DKB is ready to use the experience he gathered from the violence scandal he was involved in, with a fellow housemate that caused his disqualification, to educate and create awareness among the youth.
He has decided to embark on a nationwide “anti-gender violence” campus tour, from the senior high schools to the universities and polytechnics, from July 6th 2012. The nationwide campaign dubbed “STOP GENDER VIOLENCE- respect yourself” is an “anti-gender violence campaign” geared towards discouraging acts of provocation and violence from men to women and from women to men.
According to his management teams Ecstasy Entertainment and Boom Entertainment, he had to go through an anger management programme in order to come out reformed, improved and empowered to educate the young ones on the consequences of uncontrolled anger.
He is approaching the high school students preceding the higher institutions because they are the ones from which adults are formed and must be well informed and made aware of the repercussions of uncontrolled anger culminating into violence and how to deal with it so they become better adults.
Details of the tour, which is set to EDUTAIN (educate and entertain) include a talk session by himself, a Clinical Psychologist and a Domestic Violence representative; questions and answers time, exclusive photo taking with autograph signing coupled with a sizzling performance of his apology song.
The tour would start from his alma mater, St. John’s Grammar School, then to other schools including Labone High School, St. Mary’s High School, Presec, Accra Academy, Accra High School and then to high schools in other parts of the country.
According to DKB, ‘‘He hopes this noble initiative would positively impact the youth and also prepare them towards a violence free elections’’. He lastly added that he hasn’t left out his fans and supporters who cherish him for his comedy art and promises them a non-stop rib-cracking comedy show coupled with good music after the tour dubbed ‘’DKB and Friends – ONAAPO!!!’’

Party: DJ Joe Mfalme To Rock The House

For StarGame’s first party since the Housemates were merged, the StarGamers will be treated to the cool sounds of DJ Joe Mfalme.

Born Joseph Mwenda, this talented Kenyan’s interest in being a DJ begun at the tender age of 13 years old while listening to some of Kenya’s pioneer DJ’s such as the renowned DJ Pinye. His influences include Ragga, Dancehall, Crunk and Old School Hip Hop. DJ Joe has a number of Shows on 98.4 Capital FM in Kenya and can also be found playing at a number of clubs across the country.

He started playing professionally at the age of 20. He was a runner up at the Pilsner Mfalme national finals in 2008-9. He went on to land himself a permanent contract at Kenya’s Top Radio Station-98.40 Capital Fm. The following year, he faced off against other DJ’s from other local Radio Station and scooped the award for The Best Media DJ.

On the Kenyan scene, DJ Joe is known for his itchy fingers, eclectic flavor. Catch this music master this weekend at the StarGame party this Saturday 22:00 CAT and on the Live Eviction Show stage on Sunday 20:00 CAT.

News: Marriage and Babies for Junia and Malonza?

Early this evening StarGame love birds Junia and Malonza had a heart to heart discussion about their relationship.

The hot topic of discussion was the current status of the union, as both tried to define what they are. “We like each other, we hang out together but we remain friends, like you said,” said Junia unconvincingly.

Though her lips said friend it was very clear from her facial expressions and her body language that she was not happy with this definition.

The always alert Malonza picked up on her discontent and quickly added, “Anything that comes out of that is the perks of being friends.” The Kenyan tried to soothe her insecurities by explaining to his girl that if a serious boyfriend or girlfriend relationship were to develop than that is just the cherry on top but their main focus should be the friendship.

He even joked about Junia carrying their baby. He also brought up the subject of marriage. “If we decide to get married than that is a bonus of our friendship,” said the smooth talking StarGame lad. Wow who knew that marriage was even on the cards for these two. Is this StarGame really that serious? Malonza's brother Alex certainly doesn't think so, earlier in the day Kenyan dished to Big Brother that he believes that this relationship is nothing more than an illusion.


For most of the evening the two were attached at the hip and they hid out in the bedroom chatting and making out.

Task: Cocktail Haven

Today the Housemates showed off their bar tending skills as they mixed up an assortment of yummy looking drinks.

Unfortunately for the alcohol loving Housemats they had to be content with making non-alcoholic cocktails. The drink mixing is part of this week’s Shoprite Cooking Challenge which has called upon the Housemates to put on show their culinary skills.

Late in the afternoon the alarm rang at which point all of the Housemates had to head outside into the garden where they had different bottles, glasses and drinks waiting to be mixed on a mini bar. The Housemates were given one hour to complete the Task.

Clearly the Red Team magnificent mixing skills impressed even their opponents as Blue Team member Prezzo headed over to the team and offered up his taste buds. “Do you need a taster,” he the rapper queried. He was quickly shot down. The members of the Red Team seemed quite pleased with themselves with Malonza repeatedly exclaiming: “This is delicious.” For your team’s sake Malonza we hope Big Brother is just as impressed with your concoctions.

For this week's Task the House has been divided Jannette is the leader of the Blue Team while Goldie is the head honcho of the Red Team and both teams have Wagered 100%.

News: Lady May Says No To Peer Pressure

If you thought that peer pressure is only something that is experienced by naïve teenagers then think again.

Today the StarGame ladies proved that no matter how old you get and where you are, you just can never escape this nasty little thing called temptation.

Early this evening after the Housemates finished of their cocktail mixing challenge, Talia and Junia then pounced on Lady May and tried their best to convince the songstress that they should put alcohol in the beverage and that she should break her self-imposed drinking ban.

Fortunately for Lady May she is a strong woman and is not easily swayed and as hard as Talia and Junia she stuck to her guns. “Try again in ten years’ time,” said Lady May sarcastically to Talia.

Last month the Namibian revealed that she has not touched alcohol in ten years ever since she had a nasty experience as a teenager blacked out in a night club while her girlfriends danced the night away. The StarGame dame has made it abundantly clear that she prefers to stay sober and even the insistent pleading from Talia could not convince her otherwise and why should it.

Lomwe, Zeus back in BBA House

After spending 91 days in last season’s Big Brother Africa (BBA) house, Malawi’s representative, Lomwe is expected to go back in the house, this time not as a housemate but a performer. The 2011 finalist, real name Tendai Namate, is earmarked to perform on July 22, alongside Botswana’s housemate in the same season, rapper Game Bantsi well known by his stage name Zeus.

The news comes at a time that Malawians have been expecting artists like Armstrong, Sonye, Gwamba, Piksy and Rina to represent Malawi in one of the eviction shows this year.
Recently, there was an article that was making rounds on the internet, saying the four were probable Malawian artists to perform in the house their music is at the moment enjoying airplay in the country, but a source told Nyasa Times that “Lomwe is the one going”.
Both MultiChoice Malawi sales and marketing manager for the South, Chimwemwe Nyirenda, and the rapper confirmed in separate interviews with Nyasa Times on Tuesday.
“I got the communication from M-Net yesterday [Monday] and I will be performing a week before the final show,” said Lomwe.

Expressing his contentment, the 29-year-old rapper said, “It’s an exciting thing.”
“We have been trying very hard to get that opportunity to perform at such platform and I am very thrilled that it has finally come along,” he said.
Having represented the country as a housemate last season, and knowing that he will be going back in the house as a performer, Lomwe described the experience as a “déjà vu”, saying it would bring back a lot of memories.
This will be Lomwe’s first live performance on such international stage and TV beamed to millions of fans across Africa since he launched his music career in the 90s.
The rapper, also popularly known as ‘Nyau Killa’, who alongside Zeus recently released their ‘Double Wowza’ hit single, off their ‘Double Wowza’ mixtape, disclosed the two were happy with the support Africa is giving them.

“It’s been three weeks since we released the video on YouTube and Channel O and it’s getting good rotation. People across Africa love it and it will be a big thing performing the song live in SA,” said Lomwe.
He further disclosed that the mixtape will soon be released on the internet for fans all over the world to access the music for free.
Meanwhile, having been inactive in the country after his return from BBA, the former FM 101 radio DJ exclusively revealed to Nyasa Times that he will be taking the same lane he was before BBA.
“I have been behind the scenes planning, and now I’ll be taking steps forward. Now it’s time for people to see what I have been up to. I’ll be getting back on radio as well as club deejaying,” revealed Lomwe, but denied to mention the name of the radio.
In Malawi, Lomwe is best known for his songs ‘Nyau Killa’, ‘You don’t want it’, ‘Run the city’ and ‘Double Wowza’, which is currently enjoying airplay on local radios as well as Channel O music TV.

Is This Hate For The Game???

 In His news letter to the Stardard a Zimbabwean news paper, Reuben, Kwekwe says he can't find the significance of big brother and he poses a question for all of us and in his own words he goes on to say,

"What is the significance of Big Brother Africa?

After reading this letter, many people especially the youths may label me as someone who is outdated and old-fashioned. But without worrying about the labels that people will put on me, I have some questions. What is Big Brother Africa (BBA)? What is the importance of BBA? What is the significance of this show? I have tried to watch the show but for me, it is just nothing. Sometimes Zimbabweans are up to everything and it’s a shame. I have failed to categorise this show. I think there is one person, Grace Mutandwa who writes the Inside track column in the life&style section of The Standard, who shares  my view, that this show is just nothing. Until someone answers my questions, BBA will mean nothing to me and I am not ashamed of that." In our question tonight do you think Reuben, Kwekwe has true justificatiuon for what he's saying or he's saying this out of ignorance and how can you advise him?

News: You’re My Pride Joy

“You’re my pride and joy, you’re my baby girl,” that was the sound of love as a very cheerful Prezzo sang to his lady Goldie, late this afternoon.

How good it is to be back in love, the Kenyan and his boo finally made up yesterday after going through their longest separation in StarGame history, it had started to look like the on/off couple were through for good as the rapper told Keitta that he was done with Goldie meanwhile the singer swore to herself that she would not allow Prezzo to get to her again.

But all that is now water under the bridge and the two just could not be happier. The Nigerian was up early this morning singing merrily to herself while doing the dishes with her man. As for Prezzo, while in the kitchen cooking up a storm with the Blue Team this afternoon the rapper looked like the cat that got the cream as he serenaded his girl in front of all the other Housemates. Well if that isn’t a grand gesture of love than we don’t know what is. Isn’t love great… for both their sakes we hope that this time it’s for keeps.

Diary Room: If You Could Change

What if life offered you a second chance, what would you change? This question was posed by Biggie to the Housemates during the Diary sessions.

Keitta wishes he could bring back his father who passed away when he was young. "If he hadn't passed, a lot of things would have been different. I didn't get to know him well," he told Big Brother.

Keitta added that his fondest memory of his father was the way he spoilt him. Talia also lost her parents and she wishes they could come back. "My dad passed away when I was four so I remember sitting on his lap and watching him play an African guitar," she told Biggie. She added that she has no memory of her mother at all though but she has no doubt that life would have been a lot better with the two people that gave her life.

Goldie on the other hand said she wouldn't change anything. "I'm happy with the way things are and the way my life has been."

Meanwhile, Wati tried his luck with Biggie and requested for his alcohol ban to be lifted but Biggie would not hear any of it. "Big brother will let you know once Big Brother is satisfied."

News: Malonza Welcomes Any Woman!

  When Junia was asked yesterday about her relationship with Malonza, she said that they are now in serious
love and she is living a happily with it.
On the same Malonza issue when asked about her relationship with Jannette, Junia said that ” I’m not worried about her because right now I’ve got him”
However she later got down and accepted that should she leave on this Sunday, then Malonza and Jannette will get at it again because Malonza is a type of  guy who doesn’t push ladies away.” should it be that I’ve to walk out of this House on Sunday,I know he will get back to Jannette because he is a guy who welcomes any woman.” Junia stated.

   On the other hand when Malonza’s brother Alex was asked about the relationship between his brother and Junia, Alex just let it down and said without hesitation ” Its not like they can have a serious relationship, I know my brother well”
Surprisingly, when Malonza was also asked about the same relationship he shares with Junia, he said  that they are just friends but he is ready to welcome any benefit or value that comes along their friendship!
But when Junia was asked yesterday whether Malonza feels the same way as she does about their new and real relationship, she said “YES”. Now we are confused by the three parties who could be having a true hint about the Malonza-Junia love.
Alex who knows his brother well said that this is not a real relationship, Malonza who is directly involved said that its just friendship but Junia who is also involved confirmed that they are in a serious relationship… …Then what should we take?

News: Types of Women We Bed

In talk show host fashion, Jannette grills her 'guests' on their class of women in the garden. Move over Oprah, Jannette has got countryman Kyle and Alex where she wants them as she quizzes them on swag and getting laid.

After trying to argue that men with swag get laid easily, Jannette disagreed and wanted to know the type of women these guys are attracted to.

Alex said for him, sexual attraction is physical; "nothing more, nothing less." Kyle on the other hand said he was very choosy when it comes to the women he lays. Jannette asked Kyle to give him at least two qualities that he goes for in women and he confidently said; "educated and good looking".

Alex tried arguing that broke guys are smart but Jannette didn't buy that and queried; "If you're smart, why are you broke?"

Diary Room: No Love, Just an Illusion!

Though Malonza and Junia are joined at the hip, Alex reduced their relationship to just an illusion created by the House.

During his Diary session, Biggie asked Alex how he views his brother Malonza and Junia's relationship. Without hesitation he said "It's not like they can have a long distance relationship, I know my brother."

Well, the glowing Junia told Biggie that she was happy with her new self and the fact that Fifi was slowly disappearing.

Asked about her issues with Jannette, Junia confirmed that they were good. "I'm not worried because right now I've got him," Junia said about Malonza.

She said should she leave on Sunday, Malonza may just get it on with Jannette again because he is not the type of guy that pushes women away.

Meanwhile, Malonza said he and Junia are just friends but admitted to being welcome to any added value to this friendship. "We're comfortable with each other and I'm close to Junia," he confirmed.

Alex on the other hand said the only person he was closest to in the House was his brother and no one else. "We don't have to talk all the time but when I feel like talking about something I talk to him," Alex concluded.

Task: Chocolate Challenge

The Red and Blue teams are in the kitchen for yet another Task; preparing 12 vanilla and 12 chocolate truffles which will be served as dessert during the Shoprite Ultimate Cook Off tomorrow. The Task is also part of this week’s wager and therefore housemates have put in a lot of effort so that their wager is not put on the line.
Both teams have been provided with chef hats and aprons which they are to wear until the presentations on Thursday.
Two Tasks have already been done and Goldie‘s led Red team have won both so far while Jannette‘s Blue led team has not won a Task. The Blue team have to put in more effort because the competition seems to be turning out stiff among housemates.
By the end of the day, the winning team will be announced, if it turns out that the Red team has won then it will be a hat trick for Goldie’s team and a third loss for poor Jannette’s team.

News: Goldie And Prezzo Back Again?

For the past three days the once couple have been enjoying some good time together after a recent bitter talk they shared which Prezzo referred to as a moment of truth.
Recently when a sked about their relationship with Prezzo , Goldie said that she had to move on with her life and not ready to  live behind a man’s shadow who doesn’t respect her decisions.
The two had an early misunderstanding triggered from failing to understand each other. Goldie accused Prezzo of not being a man enough because he could remember every mistake she did and all the words they shared.” Biggie I tell you this, No real man in this world can remember every mistake his woman did and on top of that recalls every single word he told her as he was blaming her” Goldie belittled Prezzo.
This brought the two distant from each other with Goldie saying that she can’t be in love with a man who is not willing to apologise to her for his mistakes. She added that she will only go back to prezzo after him accepting that he was wrong but if that doesn’t happen, then the Goldezzo love is no more!
Prezzo too said that he can’t love a woman who is not real in what she does. He accused Goldie of shedding crocodile tears and all the time pretendig that she was ever innocent yet she is not.
The fololwing thing we saw Prezzo doing was to put up his former lover on the chopping block! Doing this, everybody thought that there was to be no more talk between Prezzo and Goldie while still in the Big Brother House..
However, the two look to be ready to shut the haters’ beaks as they are now spending and enjoying some special time together, trying to crack jokes and share different stories.
Today morning the two fornmer lovebirds were seen in the kitchen trying to prepare breakfast together for themselves and just after it was ready, the two sat on the dinning table to enjoy it.
If they are not trying to make up as lovers, then we can say that they can live a happy life  as “just good friends” just like Prezzo wanted it to be.
